The best organised and planned tour I have been on in Queensland. Thanks Captain Max, Kelly and Fiona. You made our day. We thoroughly enjoyed snorkelling at Chalkey's Beach, dining, trekking and lazing on Whitehaven beach with ample time. The last stop at Palm Cove was a perfect way to end a great day having a swim in the resort pool and a cocktail on the beach.
The food was plentiful and fresh. The precision driving by Max was such a thrill and I can't thank Kelly and Fiona enough for helping this old girl learn to snorkel. It prepared me for my snorkelling out on the reef. We had an appropriate number of passengers which made it less crowded and a lot more personal. I ran into one of the other passengers that evening and he excitedly said 'How good was that". Communication was commendable from the time of booking to the end of the tour. I would highly recommend that you select a tour from this company, you will love it. Well done Zig Zag Tours!

Fantastic day with Zig Zag. Maximum 30 passengers which was so much better than the big cruise boats which can feel impersonal and crowded. Crew were brilliant. Took us to a great snorkelling spot. There was quite a sea swell at Whitehaven which put off the bigger cruise boats and meant we had the day cruiser end of Whitehaven to ourselves for lunch which was fabulous. There was a walk up to the look out with a crew member for those that fancied it and the view from the top was spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend Zig Zag.

With 4 big Mercury motors this thing flies!!. With overcast weather and big seas this was an adventure in itself. Expertly piloted by skipper Max the hour trip out to Whitehaven Beach was exhilarating reaching speeds of 70 km/hr. The crew of Sam and Georgia were excellent and lunch was great. Poor visibility for snorkelling but still fun. Thoroughly recommend.

Myself and my friend went on the ZigZag Whitsunday day trip and couldn’t recommend it enough! Josh and Alex were great hosts of the tour, more than enough time at each destination and was the first to go to daydream island on this specific tour which was a really nice bonus. Atmosphere on the boat was good with music playing. Would highly recommend using ZigZag

We had such a fantastic day with zigzag. The staff were excellent & we saw so much in just a day. Also the price of the tour was very reasonable (the earlier you book the cheaper it is). All equipment & lunch, water & snacks were provided too.
The snorkelling was the best I’ve ever done in my life. They took us to an excellent spot with so much vibrant coral and fish and even a sea turtle! They are a smaller company so it felt more personal than the big boats.
100% recommended, especially if you like a fast ride on their very cool speed boat. Fantastic memorable day!!!

From checking us in, to the cruise and stops, this was an amazingly exciting and beautiful day.
The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, caring and made us smile.
Snorkeling at Chalkies was great and all equipment was included.
Our beach picnic, swim and walk at Whitehaven Beach, was something special and Palm Bay resort and it’s cocktails, pool and gardens, were just beautiful.
Highly recommended!

Our favourite part of the trip is difficult to choose as there were so many things that we couldn’t fault or improve on. I suppose if we had to choose one favourite it would be the visit to Whitehaven Beach. It was a fabulous day with Fi’s excellent skippering of the boat giving us the exciting and exhilarating bouncy ride over the waves and ably supported by Alex with his friendly chat. Would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great and exciting way to see the Whit Sundays.

We had the best day on Zigzag. The weather sucked a bit but the crew helped make the day memorable. Fast, fast boat driven by a skilled captain and the crew were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The snorkeling spot was lovely and would be stunning on a clearer day. Whitehaven speaks for itself and the mystery island stop was gorgeous. I’d 100% recommend ZigZag Whitsundays. If you are thinking of booking this tour, just do it, you will not be disappointed.

We had a great day out with Zig Zag. Sam, Jordan and Max were an excellent and well organised crew. We had beautiful weather, did some great snorkelling, had a lovely lunch and walk to the lookout on Whitehaven beach. We enjoyed visiting Palm Cove resort and finishing with some delicious cocktails.🍹This is probably the most reasonably priced day trip available. There were no turtles to be seen on our day which only means we will have to come back and do it again!🐢🐠😃

The boat trip itself was worth the cost. Good fun, prepare to get wet. The crew were very good, informative and gave everyone confidence to have a go at snorkeling. Food and snacks were very good. No complaints at all, couldn't have been better. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

Hi, we visit the new South Lookout at Whitehaven Beach, this give stunning views of all 7km of beach and in the other direction numerous islands. Lunch is a cold buffet of meats, home made salads. Fresh bread and wraps.

Do they have you back in plenty of time for your cruise departure?

Hi :) . ZigZag has a meeting time of 8am at Abell Point Marina North End and Returns between 4 - 4.30pm the same day. It does depend which cruise ship you are on and what timeframe the cruise ship has to visit Airlie Beach.
We do not have a cruise chip terminal here in the Whitsundays. The ship anchors around 3km off shore and smaller ferries and lifeboats bring the guests to the mainland. The problem with this is not all guests of the cruise ship can depart and return at the same time.
Let say there is 2000 people on the cruise ship and the cruise company says you have from 7.30am to 5pm in Airlie Beach . The first ferry will start taking people to shore at 7,30am and with a 40min round trip will work for the next 3 hours. Some cruise companies will say that those guests will have to be on the first ferry back at 3pm.
While every cruise company is different, it is normally to tight a time frame to join the ZigZag day tour while you are on a cruise ship visiting Airlie Beach. The last thing we want is you missing your boat.
