My friend and I booked the full day cruise out to the great barrier reef. Firstly the slight downsides, it's fairly expensive and it does take 2-3 hours to get out there. But cruising through the whitsunday's is pretty damn cool! I did a scuba dive and while it's fair to say it wasn't the greatest dive ever it was... More

What an amazing day. We boarded our boat for the 3 hour trip out to the reef and were not disappointed. The staff were amazing, the meals were tasty and plentiful and the reef AMAZING.

First and foremost this is a 3 hour boat ride back and forth which makes for a lot of idle time. There were several people that got sea sick as well so if you get motion sickness take medicine. The snorkeling/diving environment was not as great as I was hoping but I guess that is to be expected when you... More

We are visiting Hamilton island on our honeymoon and had been given the Whitehaven beach snorkel trip with BBQ. We had the most amazing day ever seeing turtles, the amazing coral and lots of different fishes. The staff were amazing in particular Reece who could not have done more for us. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt extremely... More

Amazing trip. Took 2 hours to get to the outer reef. But was definitely worth the travel. Pontoon in the middle was amazing. Right next door to the reef. Only thing I would mention is if your not a fan of salad the buffet lunch then take some food supplies with you. There wasn't much choice if your not a... More

We used Cruise Whitsundays to get us to and from our 5 night stay at Daydream Island Resort last week. The whole experience was smooth and trouble free. All staff were friendly, efficient and professional, and the vessels we travelled on were clean, modern and comfortable. Overall, very enjoyable transfers!

Overall, the trip is pleasant, fast, relaxing and interesting. That is until the supposed captain of the boat, James, comes out and speaks so rudely to you, that you feel quite embarrassed and awkward. When we arrived on Daydream, we were interested to know what the island to the left was with a resort on it. I asked the young... More

Unfortunately you have no choice but to use Cruise Whitsundays when getting around between Port of Airlie, Hamilton Island, and Daydream Island. They also seem to be the only company taking passengers out to their "Reefworld" pontoon for snorkel/diving. They are crazy expensive! It was AUS $52 just to go from the airport (HTIA) to Port of Airlie. Nuts. The... More

This was the highlight of our 6 week Australia Tour, spoiling ourselves with an overnight sleep on the reef. Cruise Whitsundays treated us as VIP's from the moment we boarded the boat. We were a small group of 9 that were having the privilege of spending a night on the reef under the stars. At 3 pm the cruise left... More
