Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not a lot of flow when there but great view. Up stream side very tranquil and great spot to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun.

We did this thru a tour which is well worth it. You get told what this dam really was built for. And to see its power up close. Wow Wee.

The whole Ord river/lake argyle/hydro is a feat of engineering that proves the foresight of these visionaries that have opened up this great country of ours.

An engineers delight. Crossing the dam wall to deter and depart Kununara. There is a sit seeing parking spot to the side from which you can see crocs. On the lake side there is a beach area for swimming without the big crocs.

As you come into Kununurra you will see the Dirversion dam. There is a road to your left that you can drive down to go to a barren lookout spot or go to the river to have a look.Worth the stop to take some photos

It just needs to be a quick stop but it is well worth the time especially if you have read any of the history of the Ord River project. Drive over the bridge from Kununurra and then take the turn off to the dam, it is a lovely area you won't be sorry.

Appeared to be a new car park and viewing area to one side of the dam downstream which was easy to access
