Ord river with lunch
May 2021 • Couples
Dylan with TripleJTours made our day extremely enjoyable. His knowledge of the area was incredibly good and his boat skills made the fast trip lots of fun. He supplied us all with a great lunch, which was very well organised, as we sat in a lovely shady spot by the river. A must do when in Kununurra.

Unforgettable experience
May 2021
The damming of the Agyle created an ecosystem flourishing in flora and fauna. Crocs were plentiful, lots of catfish to see and birds to admire. What an extraordinary piece of paradise. Definitely worth the visit.

The Ord River is absolutely amazing, so full of wildlife and very picturesque. Definitely a must see while in the Kimberley. The history of Kununurra is amazing.

Excellent cruise with interesting information.
Dylan was a fun with depth of knowledge sharing local information about the Ord River & wild life & surrounds.
His boat skills impressed & I felt safe in hands traveling on the fast moving river.
Wonderful afternoon tea with tasty pumpkin scones, an Aussie touch.
So much to see & learn about this local area.
Very professional tour from start to finish!

This is a must do tour in Kununurra
Sep. 2020
We did the Ord River Experience with Riverside Lunch tour with Tripple J Tours. This was the best tour we did in Kununurra. The crew were excellent, very knowledgeable and provided extensive commentary on the river system, plants and animals and the Argyle Dam.

Had an amazing full day on the water with these guys. Totally profesional from beginning to end. The Ord River system is a sensitive eco system that is abundant with over 200 bird species, in excess of 30 fish and fresh water shell fish and numerous species of marsupials and reptile. These guys will squeeze all this in and more.

Crocs and Roos, wear some shoes; water, water everywhere
Sep. 2019
Cruising the Ord river in a power boat, upstream of Kununurra must be on your list of best things to do in the Kimberley. Magical ochre cliffs surround you like a roofless tunnel, wading birds, crocs, wallabies and bats add to the wild flavour of the valley. Clear, cool water flows strongly down to the Diversion Weir and is lined with myriad tropical trees, bushes, reeds and floating flowers. If you're brave you can even take a dip in the shallows- the Captain will watch out for crocs! But go before end of September.

AWESOME Project
Oct. 2019 • Couples
Viewed a video of the whole project at Lake Argyle Resort and was surprised to see the diversion dam at Kunanurra was built first then the main dam at Ord River to form Lake Argyle. Primary school lessons came to life.

A beautiful river cruise
Sep. 2019
All the river and gorges are beautiful up here. Ord River and Lake Argyle do not disappoint. Lots of freshwater crocodiles stunning themselves. Our tour group had a lovely afternoon tea in a clearing on the river bank.
