I chose to do the one-day canoeing trip and regretted not staying for longer! The scenery is breathtaking throughout and I would have liked to have gone on further. Maka's instructions were easy to follow, and the service was excellent :) I'd highly recommend signing up for this trip to anyone who likes a bit of adventure and a guaranteed great day out

After been surrounded by the crowds inEl Questro it was really special to have this experience nearly all to our selves .
We didn’t see a soul all day till Maka came to pick us up at the end of the day to go back to town. Next time we will definitely do the overnight trip.
We saw heaps of fresh water crocs and walked up a beautiful gorge full of butterflies. And unlike El Q it was just us 😊 a real Kimberley immersive experience.

Macca met us at the Discovery Caravan park at Kunanurra to load up for the short drive to the base of the mighty Ord River Dam
We travelled up with another couple who were taking advantage of the full package of boat and equipment that is offered. Macca kindly customised the package as we had our own craft and equipment.
After a briefing at the take off point we departed on rippling water for a 20k paddle through the most amazing scenery we have seen in the Kimberly. Sculpted ravines, towering ramparts combined with green sub tropical vegetation made the time pass too quickly
A sandy beach for lunch and a swim , perfect
First camp located on a creek with its aown spring for water and a shower
Other facilities include bbq and tables for a complete experience.
Sleeping platforms are ideal for keeping above the local nocturnal wildlife
The second day is the main adventure day. With only 9k to travel, you can investigate all the creeks and inlets along the way for wildlife and hiking opportunities
Macca points out a couple of amazing side hikes where you leave your kayak and trek up to a secluded waterfall or pool. These are memorable opportunities and are unlike anything on the Gibb River Road
Another camp was again located on a perfect corner of the river, again with the same set up and facilities. We ended up paddling and hiking about 17k on the day
The night passes listening to splashing on the river and the usual critters scratching around
An early start for the next day and a leisurely 21k paddle back to Kunanurra
Lost to see as ravines and gorges gradually give way to farmland and eventually back to town
You can arrange pick up at several locations with Macca
You do not need to have great paddling skills for the trip as there is gentle flow from the dam wall for most of the journey.
If you have traveled the Gibb and been to El Questro you will appreciate the isolation of the trip as we rate the experience as the best overall activity you can do between Broome and Kunanurra

Spectacular, serene and majestic. A beautiful couple of days. We were very lucky to be just a group of two, we felt that we had this beautiful corner of the world to ourselves, including the campsite . Couldn’t believe the majesty, very impressed. Macca has everything organised, very approachable, no fuss, again we felt very well taken care of. Can’t recommend this experience with Go Wild highly enough.

We spent an enjoyable day yesterday paddling down the Ord River with Go Wild adventures Eco-noeing. Macca was highly organised in collecting us in his bus from our accommodation in Kunnunurra and transporting us to the start point just below the Lake Argyle dam. After providing all the equipment we would need, giving us a thorough safety briefing and some handy tips on navigation, he sent us on our way. Going with the flow of the river meant the water did most of the work. There were a few sections of faster flowing water in the first hour but nothing difficult to handle. Four hours later, after lunch and a swim at the Sandy Beach, Macca picked us up in his boat this time for a cruise down the lower gorge where we were treated to a spectacular outback sunset. To top off the day, Macca took his boat almost to our doorstep before dropping us off. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a peaceful paddle with wildlife spotting along the way.

This was on my bucket list after several friends raved about it. It was absolutely one of the best things I have ever done. I went with a group of female friends and we loved every minute. I would do it again in a heart beat with my hubby and family next time. Thanks Macca

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Incredibly good value for money I would recommend Eco-noeing Go Wild Adventure Tours to almost anyone!
The camp sites are fantastic! Make sure you bring plenty of food to cook on the camp fire and be aware that bottle shops may be closed in Kununurra on Sundays and public holidays, so plan in advance!
There is a Coles in Kununurra for fresh fruit and vegetables, don't get caught out at the NT-WA border!
Very happy all round! It's a wonderful business and congratulations to the guys and girls at Go Wild for all your efforts!
Cheers, Ben.

We just finished a group trip with Go Wild and we highly recommend! A truly unique experience - the stunning landscapes of the top end with the ability to swim in the river the whole way.
The trip is very well supported by the Go Wild team without compromising the ability to lead our own experience. Macca and his team provided all the camping equipment, cooking and eating utensils. The camps are really well set up, including a refreshing outdoor shower to enjoy at the end of each day.
The canoeing is spectacular. Incredible scenery, including waterfalls (Herbie’s hideaway was a highlight). Swimming in the river along the way is the perfect way to cool off. The canoeing is achievable for those who haven’t done any before but still satisfying for those who are more experienced.
Advice if you’re driving from the NT - don’t stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables before you cross the border (like we did) because you have to throw it out when you enter WA.
An unforgettable trip - thanks Macca and team!

WOW - a must do whilst visiting this spectacular area. This would have to have been a highlight of our 6 month trip. Macca (owner) made the trip by his organisation, knowledge of the area and being such a top bloke!!
If you like going back to basics, roughing it a little in a tent, enjoy stunning scenery and a wonderful unique experience then this is the trip for you.
We did one night which was perfect for us as we couldn’t have fit anymore beer or wine in 😜 we were also lucky enough to be the only ones on our trip.
Do yourself a favour and book the trip you sure won’t be disappointed

We loved this four day self guided tour. Spectacular scenery and plenty of bird life, bugs and reptiles to observe. Physically challenging but well worth it.

The trip isn't on Lake Argyle. It's the Ord River below the lake. It's wonderful.
