Traveling to Kununurra from Humpty Doo, NT, the second thing my husband booked for our holiday, after accommodation in Kununurra, was the Seaplane Sunset Drinks on Lake Argyle….
And without a doubt it will always be an unforgettable experience!
We were fortunate enough to have Leigh as our pilot and guide. He was so informative and knowledgeable about the area and just a great bloke to chat to while enjoying a few drinks on the Lake Argyle island beach!
The flight, while a daunting prospect being our first time on a seaplane, was an amazing experience, it was just a great way to appreciate the beautiful scenery. Having traveled from Kununurra to Lake Argyle dam wall a couple of times by boat, it was great to do it by air and see it all from a prospective.
Would not hesitate to recommend Leigh or Kimberley Air Tours to anyone!
And without a doubt it will always be an unforgettable experience!

Had such an amazing time with Kimberly Air flying over Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungles. Beau our pilot was incredible with heaps of knowledge of the area. Highly recommend!

Amazing views of lake argyle, the bungle bungles and surrounding areas. Can’t recommend this enough! Beau was an incredible pilot with so much knowledge of the area and made us feel very comfortable! Definitely book a flight if you get the chance.

Beau, the Pilot took us up over Pernalulu (Bungle Bungles) this morning. He had many interesting facts and stories about the area which made the scenic flight so very interesting and enjoyable. Pernalulu is a must see in thus area but it was closed and much too hot to walk. We loved this experience!

Lee is an amazing Pilot and is very friendly and knowledgeable, the views from the seaplane are spectacular and makes for some great photos, once landed it was the perfect place to unwind and relax with drinks and nibbles. Outstanding tour and will definitely be going again on another tour with Lee and the team, Thank you you guys are the best.

We had a lovely scenic flight with our pilot Lachlan yesterday to Horizontal falls. He was obviously super passionate about flying and the Kimberley and made the experience very enjoyable. We learnt a lot from his many Kimberley stories and facts. Would for sure recommend ☺️

Absolutely outstanding, and ❤️ every minute. The seaplane was so smooth and with only a small number on board, the view was amazing from the windows. The Bungle Bungles are breathtaking and this is the only way to see them is all their glory. Landing on Lagoon Island for morning tea, with so much beauty around is made this tour so special. Thank you for a exceptional morning.

A fantastic professional informative experience. A must do when visiting Kunanurra in the Kimberley. Nothing like a birds eye view from the air flying over the vast farmlands & extraordinary colourful rock formations. Landing on amazing lake Argyle in a seaplane on secluded beach with drinks & nibbles is a once in a lifetime experience!!

Fantastic flight over Lake Argyle, the Bungle Bungles and the Argyle Diamond Mine. Departing from East Kimberly Regional Airport in a 7 seat Cessna 207 our excellent pilot Liam gave us an interesting and knowledgeable commentary during the 2 hour flight. Being a high wing aircraft the Cessna was perfect for sightseeing, and the flight was memorable. Liam completed it with a perfect landing, wheels touching just as the stall warning sounded- precision!

Kimberley Air Tour,
I would like to book a day tour to visit Mitchell fall, would like to have a combination of flying, driving and hiking to the fall and the view point. Staying in Freshwater East Kimberly Apartment, Kununurra. Need pick up and drop off . 2 adults, date is Sept 10, Monday. Need information and pricing.

No, our tours don't land near Montgomery Reef. Our tours from Broome are conducted in a Cessna 210 fixed wing aircraft. We have seaplanes based in Kununurra so we can do private charter flights direct to cruise boats on the Kimberley coast. If you would like further information on this please contact our office,

Could you please advise how long the flight is and what are the various options, or do you just have one itinerary?
