We left on early flight in Cessna Caravan float plane. First day of wind since being here. Every one has window seat and there is plenty of room. Unfortunately was a very bumpy flight due to winds not forecast and this prevented us landing on lake Argyle. I don't mind the bumps as have sat in RH seat of planes but was a little off putting to some. Views were spectacular as was commentary along the way explaining the stats of Bungle Bungles, Lake Argyle and now shut down diamond mine as well as irrigation area. In some ways this is the last opportunity to see Argyle diamonds as the site is being rehabilitated so many things will be put back haw was where practical. Yes, would do again but with less wind which really was beyond the control of the tour operator.

We did the flight from Kununurra then drive then hike and swim and helicopter over the falls with Beau the pilot to Mitchell Falls. Amazing day - super relaxed guy who had to fly the plane, carry 5L of water on a 2 hour hike, drive the car then drop us back to our hotel at the end of the day! Highly recommend this tour. Long day but wonderful scenery and the hike was not as hard as they had said! Just hot. Lovely picnic lunch and morning tea capped it off.

An incredible day exploring the Kimberley by air and hiking to the spectacular Mitchell Falls. We then got to see the falls from a helicopter as well. Our pilot / tour guide, Beau, was excellent and very informative. We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch overlooking the falls and enjoyed a refreshing swim along the way.
