Great half day on the river with the Ord River Discoverer Cruise with Sunset. The drive out was a good chance to see the country, a stop at the homestead was educational and interesting (complete with a bower bird!) a quick look at the dam from the top and then the best bit - the journey down the river, some parts slow, some parts fast! An absolute abundance and variety of wildlife. Our guide was really knowledgeable and the cold drinks were very welcome. The finish at sunset was timed perfectly. Can definitely recommend the half day on the water with this particular cruise.

We did the jjj cruise today. Mark (aka Mabo) was our skipper. The explorer with sunset was fantastic. Mabo the skipper had extensive local knowledge on the area, river, birdlife and crocs and made the cruise informative and very enjoyable. He also has a good rapport with others on the river, and is obviously a local identity and a real character. We would recommend this cruise to anyone with an interest in the river or the east Kimberley. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

This was an outstanding tour and one not to miss in Kununurra. The scenery along the river is beautiful and we were able to see quite a lot of wildlife, but it was the excellent information provided by our boat captain that separated this tour from otherwise we have been on. We highly recommend doing this one.

This is an amazing and interesting cruise up the Ord River to Lake Argyle dam wall and back.
We were lucky to have only a few on board, so space aplenty to move around and take photos.
Saw lots of crocs up towards the dam wall, although they are elusive and quick to hide in the water. Birds and a bat colony too. Had beautiful scones at a rest stop, fed the catfish- a very novel trip. Highly recommended.

A fantastic tour of the Ord River scheme. Started with an excellent cruise on Lake Kununurra which was very informative and entertaining. Included lunch at an amazing riverbank location. Joey the guide/driver was very informative and entertaining and also an excellent driver.

What a day, what an experience. Mabo, our boat pilot and guide, was outstanding, as was Hazel, our bus driver to and from the boat. This is a must-do excursion.

Very informative kept the crowd engaged the whole trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Ord River experience. The scenery was spectacular, the boat was fantastic and our captain, Mabo, insured we were safe, entertained and provided us with an excellent overview of the area. Then to top it off we were given a delicious afternoon tea and finally treated to a perfect sunset on Lake Kununurra. Thankyou a perfect adventure.

Just went on the J4 cruise with sunset, and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Special thanks to Justin (Juzza) who was so professional, knowledgeable and articulate, he really went over and above to give us such a great cruise experience. Afternoon tea was really nice too, thoroughly recommend this tour.
