Each time I visit Port Moody, it includes a visit to Buntzen Lake. Parking does fill up so best to arrive be early. There are picnic tables scattered along the lake and areas for large groups under a shelter. Kayak and canoe rentals are available...More

There is not a lot of point in rating Buntzen Lake because for the last few years it has been inaccessible basically - the parking lot is completely full by early in the day, you get turned around with no option to look for spaces...More

The trail around Buntzen Lake is a good challenge for people with not much training in hiking. When starting from the parking ot near the South Beach and walking the trail counter clockwise, the first part until the North Beach is relative easy to do....More
