Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you like nature and hiking, this is the spot. Nice trail and no crowds, you can take your time and enjoy the surroundings. And forget your cell phone, since it will not work there - which is cool, actually.
At the end, you can dive in the freezing water.

Guartela State Park was created in 1992 in order to preserv the Iapo canyon, the sixth largest canyon in the world! This park is located in the city of Tibagi, Parana State, south of Brazil. The rock formations called "arenitos" stand out amid the vegetation like a scenery. It's hard to belive in such beauty! There are two tracks that you coul take: the basic one and the guided track. The basic track is the shortest and you will be able to see the "paneloes do Sumidouro" (large pots) and the stone bridge watefall. The guided track has 8 quilometers and you will need a guide to make it. We hired one at Guaterla ecoturismo company in the city of Tibagi, near the park. In this trail you can see the hawk stone and indigenous paintings which has more than 4.000 years! And at the end of your journey you will be very pleased in bathing at the large pots. It's one of a kind experience! It's a wonderful place for nature lovers, but do not forget the sunblock, insect repellent and bottles of water!

The view is really very beautiful and the park provides a true contact with nature. It requires some physical preparation because the basic trail between going and going reaches 5 km.

Very beautiful place, wonderful view, integration with nature,
Above expectations.
As it is a state park, there was no cost to enter, but it is very clean, with impressive guides.
Congratulations

Written 29 May 2020

Written 18 August 2019
Quanto tempo dura o passeio? Tem mais alguma atração próxima? Qual?
Written 18 July 2019

Eu fiz a trilha menor. A trilha menor é gratuita.
