Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I usually spend New Year's Eve with my family on the island of Itaparica, and for this trip it is necessary to pack white clothes, bikini, sunglasses, shorts, t-shirt, sunscreen, cap, hygiene products and card. Tourists should visit the bar on the shore in front of the beach and try the shrimps. You should not visit the island in August because it is cold. What I like to do in Itaparica is to drink cold beer and eat the delicious acarajé.

Nice public fountain with pure source water. Cold and refreshing and tested regularly for purity. Many residents come here to get their fresh water supply.

Crossing the Todos os Santos bay with the small boat -lancha-, you get very quickly to the Itaparica Island, with its relax atmosphere, although so close to the big town of Salvador!!! It's really worth!!!

The tour was worth every penny!
We stayed in Salvador and took the Ilha de Itaparica + Ilha dos Frades tour with Luck Turismo.
Speechless!
Super organized and perfect tour.
We left the Salvador maritime terminal, which has a good structure.
The island is beautiful, the sea is perfect, blue and looks like a swimming pool.
Apart from the boat trip, which is wonderful.
It was super worth it.
On the island, we had lunch in a paradisiacal place, an all-you-can-eat buffet for 75.00 per person, I personally thought it was worth it.
Very delicious food, and you can repeat it as many times as you want.
It’s the tour I recommend and I would do it again!

Excellent experience! The island is densely populated, but it is still worth it for its beautiful beaches. Crossing Salvador by passenger boats!
