Jim Jim Falls was our first swimming stop on our recent Intrepid camping tour. The falls are spectacular, even in the Dry. The pools below are clear and gloriously refreshing. Take a swimming mask or goggles, there are plenty of freshwater fish to see. When...More

Fairly tricky rock climb to the falls but well worth it. Beautiful area and swimming hole. Make sure you don't go too late (like we did) so that you have time to swim and relax by the falls.

Wear joggers and don’t rush your footing! Somewhat challenging walk but sooo worth it. There was not a lot of water falling but the pure, refreshing green water was great and I could have stayed on the sandy beach in the warm sun forever. Monstering,...More

Bit of rock hopping required to get to the lower pool. Then a real scramble over large rocks to get to the deep dark pool at the bottom of the falls. Beautiful swimming spot. Highly recommended.

Of the many lovely places in Kakadu NP, none beats Jim Jim Falls (don't get it mistaken with Jim Jim Billabong)! No easy words to describe it, you need to see it for yourself. Unfortunately, is a little off the beaten track, so you do...More

Wow! An incredibly challenging walk over huge rocks and boulders. Not slippery on a dry day. But for me (who doesn’t do this type of thing often) it was challenging but not impossible. My 72 year old mum was fine. Our guide and group were...More

The gravel road getting there. A little rough. The windy bush track after the gravel road. Relaxing. The 900 mtr???? trek and rock climb. Challenging. The falls and beach area when you get there. BLOODY AWESOME.
