Such a thrill to fly over the Twin Falls. Highly recommend the scenic flight as it gives you great perspective of the size of the area!

Viewed these falls on a light aircraft flight over Kakadu. While not on the scale of many of the world's famous waterfalls, they are pretty impressive.

Andrew from The Scenic Flight Company Kakadu flew us over Kakadu and we got a good look at Twin Falls along with a number of other waterfalls. You can't get in there by car during the wet season. Best way to get on board a...More

If you are able to visit this it's a must. We visited Jim Jim falls first and we're disappointed because the water fall was not flowing, we then came to twin falls and we're amazed.

After our visit to Jim Jim falls, we decided to have a look at twin falls, as it is close by. The 4wd track is fun to drive and relatively easy, until you get to the river crossing. We stopped to have a look, signage...More

Getting to the falls had only been open a week so we were super excited to get there. Four wheel driving fun, lots of bird sightings, river crossing, small walk, a little boat cruise then a walk to the falls. Peaceful and serene place.

This was far quieter with less people than Jim Jim Falls - probably due to the fact that you need to do a river crossing (80cm deep) to get out there, so you really must be in a 4WD and have some idea what you...More

Despite advice that December was not the best time to travel to Kakadu, I saw this waterfall by charter plane and it was amazing! The contrast between the green and the flowing waters is something that should be missed.
