A must see for all visiting the area. As a travelling party of three we booked last minute for the following day at 11am. The tour was beyond expectations and Lauren our tour guide provided us with a personal, informative and professional tour of all aspects of wine making at the winery. Culminating in an excellent wine tasting experience. Lauren demonstrated great passion, knowledge and enthusiasm regarding the wines and we look forward to hearing about Lauren gaining the recognition she deserves in the wine making industry. The cured meat and cheese platter in the cafe is a must. Thank you for a great experience.

Great wines, food and service. They recommended we get there early as they had a few bookings for lunch, which was great advice. We benefited from this with prompt service and food that was delicious and good value.

A $49 winery tour that explains, shows and shares the product, probably the best winery tour in the world not just NZ. Stay for lunch too, incredible value.

Arrived just in time for the tour. Our host was very informative about the whole process( she was the winemaker). We learned a lot. The tasting that followed was also very enjoyable. Our daughter and son in law werev so impressed with the wines we bought that they are going to join the wine club. We would throughly recommend a visit

A limited range of wines but at least they were all available for tasting. We sat at a table which made the experience more relaxed and enjoyable. This was definitely one of our better tastings.

The owner gave us a great tour of this beautiful boutique winery, including walk through vineyards, tour of production area and tasting. All very friendly and unpretentiousness. Highly recommended.

My wife and I visited 5 wineries in the Hastings/Havelock North area. This was the only one that was unpretentious and laid back, and where we could eat for a reasonable cost. The owner and his wife spend the time to explain their philosophy on winemaking, and their approach to making the various wines. They produce Syrah, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet. They also blend, and create fortified wine. Well worth a visit- but be prepared to stay longer than intended!

A very fun activity for friends to go out and enjoy the countryside. We went by car rather than bicycle... Beautiful area. Winery fresh and clean. Low or no pressure tasting at a leisurely pace.
