Thank goodness this home has been preserved and well endowed with period artefacts. It's a good example of early European settlers homes and we had a lovely visit with a charming and knowledgable volunteer guide.

The house shows what life was like in the Victorian and Edwardian eras, so is good historically. The gardens are also beautiful and well worth a visit on their own.

Well preserved home that shows a good overview of period living. Welcoming staff with lots of good information. Gardens are stunning with the most roses I've ever seen. Worth a wander.

This is a must do. The guide takes you around the first part and gives just the right amount of info then you can look around the rest. Would happily pay more than the $5 entry fee.

If you're interested in history this delightful old house is a must do. The staff were very helpful, informative and friendly. Behind is an extensive rose garden.
