For a small fee you can tread the boards where the famous have performed and soak up the resplendent atmosphere as you weave backstage and into the stalls ,looking up and seeing the crystal chandelier .Have coffee and cake out front . Imagine having weddings...More

Lovely old building with a stunningly done up opera house inside. We had a chance to look inside and admire the restoration of a lovely old dame.

They serve ALLPRESS coffee and that's all a corporate traveler needs to fuel up for the drive north to Christchurch or south to Dunedin Found it to be a very charming building
