Quirky, arty, very interesting - you could spend a lot of time looking around up there. Quite daunting stairs though if you're elderly or infirm

You will enjoy a long meander through the wide selection of arts and crafts in this Gallery. It's a visual smorgasboad that seduces every taste. The talent to create these displays will have you in awe.

Highlight of harbour street. Very friendly atmosphere, great music playing as we wander through her gallery. Donna has made an amazing job here. Will definitely be back again. 😊

If you like contemporary and quirky art then this little place is a must visit. Really close to the steam punk museum, this arty little gallery store is eccentric and surreal. Simply awesome!

I was glad when I first ventured upstairs into this dustily charming showroom in the heart of the historic precinct, adorned with surprises large & small: massive papier mâché Queen Victorias and various other mammals, deer horns decorated with dainty necklaces - as well as items actually for sale such as cards, homemade pretty boxes & such things as pre-loved... One cannot go to Oamaru without going to this gallery to see what Donna and her friends have been up to. Fascinating, eclectic range of artworks, no pressure to buy, Donna is a delight and great to chat with. They always have interesting music playing and they often host events that one can be part of.

Donna Demente's artistic talent is amazing and visiting her gallery is such fun. There is a selection of gifts for all pockets and I bought a brilliant poster which I shall frame and hang when I get back to the UK. Would definitely recommend a visit .... loved it.

Donna is a graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts . I loved my visit to this quirky & intriguing gallery. She was there the day I visited & I had a great chat to her. Definitely a highlight of my stay in Oamaru.

What fun to discover all the olde world bits and pieces. Great gifts and interesting art in old buildings that are just as interesting .A most enjoyable place to wonder and ponder.
