Great time

The boat driver is very knowledgeable. The seals are lovely. This was my third time. I come back everytime I go to through here.

Cannot recommend this tour enough. It's great fun, you're guaranteed to see hundreds of seals and our skipper, Vinny, was so knowledgeable about the seals and the geology of Cape Bridgewater (amongst other things). Would love to do it again in the scuba tank next time I visit Portland! The walk out is beautiful too, so make sure you have... More

I booked in for this seals by sea tour, was quite a walk up and down hills to the rickety old rusty shedthat is headquarters to the tour, once there i was greeted by loads of sand flies bitting the hell out of my legs, bring aeroguard. I thought this tour better be worth it, we boarded the boat and... More

A 15 minute undulating walk from the seals car park gets to you a rickety old shed that is home to life jackets and all the other things needed by this small tour operator. If you have small children, the walk may take longer. Up to 9 people can go on the tour which goes for about an hour. The... More

This boat ride/tour is so much fun and the up-close interaction with the two seal species is just awesome. A 15 minute walk from the car park to the jetty is well worth it for the experience to come. We rode along in a group of 7 people plus Vinnie the operator. The ride takes you out across crystal blue... More

$40 for a 45 minute trip to see literally hundreds of seals, many close enough to touch (and smell). The operators are super friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Was such a fantastic experience I'm already planning to do it again. Allow 20-25 minutes to walk along a beachside track to a small jetty where the tour leaves from. The short... More

A picturesque 15 min shoreline walk followed by a short boat ride and an awesome opportunity to see seals in their habitat. Great afternoon, great value for money and highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful and worth every cent. Vinnie was full of information. Ages of family ranged from 13 - 66. Allow at least a min of 25 mins to the jetty for the slower walking members of family.

We were a family group with youngsters ranging from 10 - 50 years old. We all thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The boat ride to the seals was exciting and exhilarating, albeit a bit scary for some of us! Vinny was knowledgeable and interesting and was able to get us really close to the seals. It was brilliant - would highly... More

This was a great experience. We went with 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Vinnie, our guide from 'Seals by Sea Tours', was awesome and knowledgeable about the only seal breeding community on mainland Australia. Fun ride out on the motorised raft over some good size waves, and then up close and personal with hundreds of seals. Highly recommend to anyone.... More
