Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great little museum with a good collection of spotless vintage cars - still being used by their owners. Particularly interesting to me was the history of each one.

A small but interesting collection of cars and motoring memorabilia. Run by local volunteers and well worth a visit.

As with other small car museums, this is a display of local enthusiasts cars, housed here for everyones enjoyment.

A sign next to each gives history, make & model. You never know what you will find in these little museum treasures.

Loved by my husband who loves old cars. Great for anyone who likes to get a glimpse of a bygone era. Lots of beautiful and lovingly maintained and cared for cars.

This museum is an enormous credit to the volunteers who run it. The exhibits are beautifully restored and maintained. There are some particularly rare cars and items that you wouldn't expect to find in a provincial museum. Exceptional value but please remember they don't take Eftpos.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit to this museum. A small place jam-packed with beautiful restored cars, trucks machinery and motor bikes and bicycles.

Well worth the nominal admission to see and ask questions.

Will go again

A great local car club exhibition. The collection includes local car club members' own restored vehicles. The collection spans early vintage to late 70s cars, together with a range of stationary engines, motor bikes, a few tractors and a restored cable tram. There are also toy cars, memorabilia and old workshop tools on display.
We were very fortunate to meet Ian on our visit who gave us a close look at his restored S series Valiant on display and generously shared information about the restoration and the Museum. Thank you Ian for making our visit so special. As another reviewer said, the exhibition is a credit to the members. We highly recommend the Portland Powerhouse Motor and Car Museum.
