Flight over the island an unexpected pleasure. The highlight of what was already a great day and so well worth it- very reasonable cost and views over the lake, whales, and taking off and landing on the beach- amazing. The team were great

We were offered a great price for a 20 minute joy-flight over Fraser Island and saw the extent of Eli Creek, Butterfly Lake which is only visible by air and the large sand dunes on the island. It is awesome to know that there are only two places in the world that you can take off and land on a beach and we're at one of them. We flew in the GA8 Airvan which seats eight and the flight was very smooth, it is truly an awesome experience see the most beautiful and picturesque parts of Fraser Island. This is a must if you want to experience all that Fraser Island has to offer.

Great experience A must do when in the area
Super friendly staff and pilots
Highly recommend paying a bit extra for a beach landing on fraser.
Half hour flight and some time on the beach.
Best deal we found over all the flight companies. $150 per person for 30 mins over fraser. Plus $25 pp for a beach landing and some short time on the ground for photos.

Really impressed with the professionalism and politeness of our pilot, Troy. He made myself and my whole family, including young children, feel very comfortable throughout the flight. We had a lovely experience and would highly recommend flying with Troy and Air Fraser.

This is sooooo worth the money - it is a very reasonable price.
Absolutely stunning. we did a short scenic flight as part of our 1 day tour with fraser explorer tours, taking off and landing on the beach was great.
Our pilot was lovely and the flight smooth - i was worried it was a small plane but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Enjoy the experience of take off and landing on a sand air strip and the amazing views over Fraser Island. This is an economical way to get a real birds eye view of Fraser Island and some of the amazing features. The flight we took was only 20 minutes but we saw heaps. It was part of an add on for a tour we were on. The pilot was great, safety conscious and professional. We saw whales and he circled back just before preparing to land so we could get a better view. Absolutely recommend the experience.

Enjoyed a flight over the beautiful Fraser Island on a 15 minute scenic flight. We saw how enormous the island was as well as whales and dolphins. Our pilot Ray was very knowledgeable and circled the whales for us which was such a treat! I would recommend this experience to anyone.

We took a flight on our recent trip to the island. The cost was affordable but the experience on the flight was not good. We asked the pilot what is the best side of the plane to be on and he said both sides. We first flew over Lake McKenzie but only the right hand side of the plane got a good look at the lake. Other scenic flight we have been on have at least given both sides of the plane a good look. Commentary would also be helpful.

We have just experienced a fantastic day on Fraser Island thanks to Air Fraser. The service from Tasha from the initial contact, booking and check in was absolutely first class. We then met our pilot Todd who took us on a scenic flight to the Island and set us up with our 4WD for the day along with maps and instructions on what to do. He was waiting for us on our return and another short scenic flight and we were back where we started. Highly recommend using this company because we will again in the very near future.

My wife and I took 20 minutes flight starting and finishing on Fraser Island. It was an amazing experience. It gave a birds view of the island.
We didn't see any whales, but that didn't matter.
Taking off from a beach was an added bonus.
The only negative thing was about the timing. I inquired well in advance as well as the day before our flight and wanted to book a time. I was told that there was no need to book and that the aircraft would land on the beach at 7 am. When it didn't arrive, I rang the office and was told that they would land after 10. We arrived at 10 to find a big group waiting. Since I couldn't book the time, we almost had to wait for a while, which could have severely impacted on our itinerary for the rest of the day. It already had impacted out itinerary, as our day was planned with an early morning flight. Fortunately, they squeezed us in in front of some other people from the group and we were able to do all other things we planned on the day.
I stress that this didn't take away from our amazing experience.

Hi will you be doing the fly/bus tour from sunshine coast airport in December 2019 - January 2020 we are really interested in this trip
