Recently used this service when travelling from a cruise ship in Brisbane to Hervey Bay. The ship was delayed returning to Port. The whole shuttle was charged extra money with rather standover tactics. I refused to pay. One to avoid.

Being an overprotective mother I wasn’t comfortable sending my daughter on a train or large bus by herself. I still had my nibbling doubts about a shuttle bus but any concerns disappeared as soon as I met the driver. Super friendly and made my daughter feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and will book any trips to her grandparents with them again.

Whilst travelling north on the Bruce Highway between Gympie and Maryborough on 10/01/2020 we witnessed dangerous driving by the operator of this service. He displayed aggression and intimidating hand gestures after not allowing our vehicle to merge into a lane. He continued this behaviour every time he used an overtaking lane. He would tailgate the car in front of him and then sit beside them for the length of the overtaking lane and only overtake them at the end so that no other cars could pass. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Thank you for the Review, this will be used as staff training.
It must be advised all vehicles have front and rear facing cameras, and the review of the footage for that day clearly shows nil tailgating, 300 meters indication prior to overtaking at 100kph-105kph.
It also shows clearly a concertina of vehicles behind the bus in question following your vehicle prior to an overtaking lane, your vehicle in question was traveling between 85 & 92 kph nil constant speed, which then accelerated up to 105+ after the division of the overtaking lane, whereupon other vehicles proceeded past your vehicle. (clients in the vehicle are heard commenting on the following paragraph)
Prior to this division lane at after the Five Mile intersection, camera footage shows your vehicle is abruptly merging, accelerating without indication in front of vehicles and midway in the divided road, causing vehicles at 102 kph to brake firmly to avoid your nil allowance of merging, indication and give way rule. it is clearly evident then of the controlling nature between division lanes for several kilometers, at nil time was the vehicle tailgating, however it was clearly off to the left of the lane allowing a closer following vehicle behind the opportunity to observe why the shuttle was traveling at 85kph.
We hope this assists with your review as a common problem with clearly marked vehicles is the propensity of negative reviews from individuals, we take extreme precaution as the vehicle was fully booked and "stat dec's" will be collected and submitted to Qld Transport for their follow up.

So glad we used Atkinson Shuttles, instead of the train, to take us from Hervey Bay to Brisbane International Airport. For us better value than the training down the day before. Communication re booking was great, especially in the days before and on the day. Steve was on time, early actually, helpful with luggage and very welcoming. Our vehicle was very comfortable, A/C, charging ports and smooth. All this certainly took away any stress in regard to starting our trip on time, safe and sound. Front door to Terminal, no stress. Return transfers already booked ! Thoroughly recommend Atkinson Shuttles for your transfer to Brisbane needs from Hervey Bay.

I recently used Atkinson Shuttles to take me to the International Airport and return to Hervey Bay. The service was exceptional! From the office to the drivers all were very professional, prompt and willing to assist in any way. I cannot receommend this company more highly and will definately be a return customer.

The driver of this shuttle registration 591zja was terrible on the road. Road manners to other motorists were purely shocking. Cutting them off on the highway at 110 then continuing to speed through a roadworks zone. Highly unprofessional.

I recently needed transport from River Heads to Sunshine Coast airport and was quietly stressing about how I would get there. But after just one quick email, I received a quote and was booked in to be collected from my front gate and dropped right at the terminal.
It was the only part of my trip to Melbourne that there was no issue or change. So thank you for that.
And my driver Peter was lovely, I’d definitely book and recommend this service again.

Best ever. Saw us walking with our luggage from the airport and stopped to pick us up and take us to town gratis. Can't thank him enough.

We pre-ordered and paid for this shuttle service a couple of weeks ahead of our trip from Maroochydore Airport to Hervey Bay and back to Noosa from Hervey Bay.
We had Steven to drive us to Hervey Bay and Steve drove us back to Noosa. Both trips were great, we had two excellent, safe drivers with very clean vehicles and on time. Steven contacted us ahead of each trip to co-ordinate times etc. We would definitely use them again. Thanks guys.
