My wife n I celebrated our wedding anniversary tonight. We were very hesitant initially after reading the bad reviews about this theatre. We raised our concerns with the attendant at the cashier, she was very understanding and friendly. THERE was NOTHING wrong with cinema 2. Smells are normal, no smell or urine or mould. Infact the cinema is cleaner than many other cinemas in brisbane. If u want to smell urine head into the toilets where there are waterless urinals. Other than that the cinema is fine. Maybe we got lucky? Seems pretty good to me.

you only wanted to see the movie anyhow......the popcorn is fine and so are the ice creams, the toilets are clean, its only a small capacity theaterette with about six or so screens, if you want a decent coffee or meal experience.....go to one of the many better known eateries in town and then go to the movies. ........we saw "last cab to Darwin" which is just another great Australian movie featuring the great outback with some very earthy language and great acting.....don't worry the theatre is fine.!!!!!

Not a bad complex, with regular sessions throughout the day. Cinema was bigger than expected with good sound and reasonably comfortable seats. The staff are all kids and got a bit ticked off when asked for a receipt.

Excellent movie experience with friends. The deluxe cinema has very comfortable leather seats with a swivel table/arm rest per seat. We were able to take in wine and snacks. Staff are very friendly and accommodating too.

Well I went back walked out after 15 minutes this place should have the Health department go through it we bought our tickets got snacks service was good lined up when we went in we were about the 4 lot of people as we went in the smell hits you people in front said out loudly oh my god what that smell people in front of them said you sought of get use to it I laughed ,we sat through the previews then my wife and daughter said we cant handle this stench.
The seat next to me was soaking wet a lady sat down in it when we were there and was upset she said this smells like urine and her and her friend walked out.
We left and said to the woman up near the front of the Ticket area and she said sorry they get cleaned I said what once a year.
Will not go back and would recommend people to ask to go and see the screens before paying for a ticket and smell the Urine and Faeces' this hasn't changed since last visits WILL NOT BE BACK.

Brought 3 tickets where told we weren't aloud to sit on the floor and we had to sit seperately and this was after we walked in the doors. Spoke to the manager nothing she could do but say its the policy. Mind you another lady come up to us and said they did the same to her.

Disgraceful, my 13 yr old daughter forced to pay adult price, today at 2pm session. Grey haired man behind counter just said " read the sign" referring to student discount.Daughter is 5 ft tall looks more like 11 yrs old, but rude rude man just repeating " read the sign". Disgraceful in a region that relies on tourism.

The toilets are clean and the cinemas are comfortable. Cinema 6 in new with better seats but all very good seating. The screen is good as well. I love how if the movie has been on for a while they go down in price. I’ve seen a Movie for $5.

I took my granddaughters to see beauty and the beast an amazed how nice an comfortable the seating was. It's been years since I've gone to the movies but I enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was very friendly an certainly will be going again. Well done Hervey Bay cinema.
