Lucky for the video in the theatre room as that was about all it had for the young children. Lucky it is only a gold coin donation because I certainly wouldn't pay more than that. It was worth going and the gold coin donation though.

Informative and fun for the kids as well as adults. Very helpful staff. Could do with some more exhibits, but generally a great little place to give the kids a taste of marine life and history of the area.

This building must have had a lot of grant money. It is quite difficult to identify its purpose. You will need to be very accommodating to be excited by this.

My husband and I spent two days in Hervey Bay and had a great visit to the Discovery Sphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the exhibits were interesting. Note that this is a fairly small attraction and likely won't take more than an hour to get through.

The staff were absoltuely lovely, for a gold coin donation the kids get a little fact sheet to fill out from the information found in the displays. There were some interactive exhibits and puzzles to solve. A film to watch and a couple of live displays. It's probably better for younger children but you could easily spend an hour here.... More

I was looking forward to the visit, but was disappointed. It is not expensive and was semi-interesting, but not great.
