We loved spending time at Kiwi North checking out their 2 kiwi birds and their huge amount of native reptiles each one more surprising than the previous... Plus the small museum was just Superb!

Great displays of geckos; two kiwi in residence in very carefully organised displays. Their keeper provided very informative talk. Museum had some great displays of Moa and other interesting things from the past.

this is a great place to go and see the live kiwis and walk around the museum outside we was there for about 1 half hours looking at everything

The feeding times now are 11am, 1pm and 3pm. As the birds are starting to grow up they do self feed from time to time and are more active after the first and third feeding. Kiwis are night birds so visitors should arrive a... More
