Probably the only place most people get the chance to see Kiwi in their own environment. Wonderful set up and staff are very informative. Well worth a visit.

great pioneer buildings, museum and kiwi house along with the reptiles. Anne Frank exhibition was on when there and very informative about the life and times of Anne Frank and the Diary. Cost was $20 NZD and spent around 2 hours exploring.
