Regenerated bush, about 60 years old in parts. Beautiful ferns and other native plants loving the conditions. Many birds and well worth a visit if you are in Wanganui.

If you in Whanganui, visiting the National Park is a MUST. Although the journey goes as far as 5 days, even a day is sufficient... great jet boat trip up to the stunning Bridge to Nowhere.
