Stopped in to see the butterflies and stretch our legs. Kind of a funky set up but the owner was nice and we enjoyed looking at the butterflies. There was even a little tiny bird in one of the trees. Nice visit.

The last time we visited was with the previous owner, a Swiss man. Need we say more? Everything was spick and span. This time the 'garden' by the entryway was weedy and desolate looking (Japanese honeysuckle, BTW, is a pest plant) which made us wonder what we'd find inside. Plenty of butterflies, I'm pleased to say, which were doing their... More

We visited on a warm day so it was hot and humid inside but we were expecting this. The were lots of butterflies flying around but not so many orchids. Maybe it was the wrong time of year for the orchids to be in flower.

The kids loved it. They had lots of butterflies land on them with lots of photo opportunities. Lovely setting

It sounds a bit boring but it is a really interesting place to stop. Set in a campground (also very pretty spot) the butterfly house is quite large and filled with stunning pretty butterflies flitting around. Children will love this. If you're into tropical plants you'll love it for this reason too. Giant heliconias, ginger plants, telopeia, pitcher plants etc... More

This is like stepping into another world. The beauty of the plants, their flowers and of course the colourful butterflies stops you in your tracks. The immediate ambiance is one of peace and tranquillity. After the acclimatisation phase wears off one starts to take a closer look at the butterflies and tropical plants and there is sheer beauty every where.... More
