I love this market. I walk from one end to the other each side and enjoy the vibe. I buy all my vege seedlings plants from the stall outside the GBD and they are such good healthy plants.

This market is on every Saturday morning. There were many stalls lined up and down both sides of the main street. Something for everyone and once you have finished shopping there are wonderful cafes to enjoy a lovely coffee and cake.

Took our neighbours on a day trip to the Coromandel, starting with the Thames Markets. Interesting variety of stalls. Organicaly grown vegetables and fruit available. The mussel fritters went down a treat for a snack. Antique shops open too as well as cafes and others...More

Our local market on some days is quite sad. Regular customers come and go quickly with their organic or home grown produce. The secondhand traders trying for some dollars appear to have grown in number but not in quality.

The markets were interesting but a bit quiet. Thames in general was quiet, so maybe it was just the time of year. There were a few food stalls, some selling books and others selling bric-a-brac. I wouldn't recommend coming to Thames just for the markets,...More

Local produce and art/craft stalls selling their produce and wares in the street. Definitely worth a walk up and down looking at the things for sale, but you need to know your prices to spot a bargain. Plants, cakes, woodwork, jewellery, books, tools and clothes.

Sometimes this market is buzzing other times depending on weather and other markets it can be quite quiet but as is in Gramhamstown Thames the shops are open and nice Cafes as well. Well worth a visit and a look around Thames.
