Immaculate and varied collection. My Chinese friend was impressed. The rose garden is in the Queen Elizabeth Garden. Lot of activities for kids including a real train ride in a mini train.

Little gem of a park with so much to do and look at. A kid's playground with activities I haven't seen anywhere else. Beautifully maintained and vision to upgrade. Great Place for young and old.

Our Grandchildren love riding the train which runs through the park, and then playing in the well equipped playground which includes a flying fox. The bird aviaries are a wonderful attraction, especially the talking parrot who says "hello" & "Polly wants a cracker" Top the visit off with an ice cream for the kids and a wonderful coffee for the... Spring is the best time as the cherry blossoms light your way as you move through the gardens, for the rose gardens...wait a little longer, it will be worth it. There are so many shady spots to have a picnic, places for the kids to explore in safety and colour everywhere...a true feast for the eyes, if you feel hungry,... More

The new and improved Esplanade is the place to be. There is something for everyone to enjoy! It would be the perfect place for a family picnic on a nice summers day!

Playground, tracks, gardens, paddling pool, cafe - the Esplanade has something for everyone. Try the river walk for abit of a trek or just stroll through the gardens. Love it here.

The Esplanade is a beautiful place to visit, the gardens are so well tended with sucha variety to look at, I loved the rose garden but most especially loved the begonia hosue with all different huge blooms. The children's play ground is great even for the elderly, flying fox and never too old for a swing.

Unfortunately it was raining when we visited the gardens so our trip was a bit short . We did drive around and visited the conservatory where we saw a magnificent display of begonias . The display was beautiful . I have not seen such beautiful ones. Better than the Begonia display at Wellington . Must do when visiting Palmy .
