Lovely gardens and especially at present with the cherry trees out in full bloom . An easy place to find, the information centre in the square is very helpful.

When you're in Palmerston North you have to visit the Victoria Esplanade. While in August the roses weren't in bloom but the space was still quite pretty and very peaceful. It's a great way to spend a few hours with family or on your own....More

Excellent place to take kids, go for a walk. It has almost everything from play grounds to walks to cafe to rose garden, birds etc. Heaps to do for kids. Keep plenty if water, sunblock and have your walking shoes on...you won't be disappointed!

Excellent park that is very well maintained. Great place for all to visit. There is a large rose garden here that I am sure would look beautiful when it is flowering. There is plenty of parking.

Really lovely expansive park with something for everyone. There are currently lots of renovation / construction areas but the playground, bike track and train offered plenty of entertainment for kids of all ages.

Yes, there’s a cafe in the gardens. Also, there’s usually a guy selling ice blocks and lollies for children, just by the train station.
