The Contos Campsite is beautiful. It has recently been extended with 2 extra loops. The sites are great with picknicktables surrounded by beautiful bush. There is a (big and clean) kitchen, toilets but no showers. We had kangeroos visiting.

Contos is close to MR and provides a variety of different camp sites near the beach. Just make sure to book online during the holiday period, as you may not be guaranteed a spot if you spontaneously show up. Apart from that I recommend avoiding...More

Such a breathtaking place. The rugged beauty from the rocks is just amazing. I found it a lovely place to just sit on a rock and watch the ocean. Beautiful

great stretch of beach for chilling with kids and packing a lunch. The water is unreal color of blue and kids can be nutz on the beach without annoying anyone.

We left our car behind, as the road was unsealed. We walked for two kilometers. When we found the Canto Beach, we were happy. We met some people and they had a problem. We were at the top of the cliff and to go down,...More

After living in the south west for a long time we finally made it to Contos. We did a day trip from Busselton which is an easy drive and we weren't disappointed. There are a few different spots along the contos road to explore. Would...More

A bit off the beaten track, hence we’d never been in the many visits to Margs. Not far from Lake Cave, take Conto Road. Once you pass the campsite the road is unsealed and a bit rough but no need to decompress tyres or anything....More

Great campground, can be booked online, well maintained and most sites have privacy & shade. The nearby beach accessed via a dirt road is a must-do at sunset with a bottle of bubbly! Caves and wineries are just a short drive away.

We never to to see much of the beach as it is hard to access from the campgrounds, but could hear the waves.

Heaps of rockpools for the kids to explore. Fun spots for fishing. Just be carefull on the slippery rocks and watch out for the freak waves

Conto Beach is yet another beautiful Australian beach. It is fairly isolated and therefore almost pristine. A great place to go to hear your heart beat. There is bush camping available a few kms before the beach along the access road.

We booked last minute due to foul weather with no fuss. Upon entering the camp clear directions and spotless grounds are evident. We made our way up to our designated spot and collected some of the firewood provided. Managed to get a fire going despite...More
