Excellent wine tour with Sully! We were 3 couples celebrating 3 milestone birthdays and booked Sully to take us on a winery tour followed by a long winery lunch! Sully picked us up at 10am and we then visited 3 different wineries in the region that were lesser known but excellent! Having organic and biodynamic wine was fantastic and given that we have a house in the area it was great to discover some new places! Sully's knowledge of the area is second to none and we had personalised attention wherever we went. We then had a delicious lunch at Amelia Park winery before Sully collected us and returned us home in good order. We can highly recommend Sully if you are looking for a day out in the Margaret River region.

Sully is the most fantastic guide I've ever had - I set him a hard bar as I'd been to the region 3 times before and had a lengthy list of likes and dislikes. He rose to the occasion with absolute aplomb, taking us to so many wineries I'd never heard of, adapting the whole schedule on the fly based on our tastes, and sharing wonderful stories throughout.
He even saved our lunch reservation - I'd booked something and when he called to push it back a bit, he found out I'd booked for the next day accidentally! He quickly used his connections to find us a reservation at one I couldn't even get into when I tried.
This has totally transformed my idea of what a wine tour should be and I can't thank Sully enough for the perfect day he gave us.

What a fantastic way to spend a day tasting wines in Margaret River!
We were a group of 6 and didn't want to have anyone miss out on the tastings by being a designated driver so booking a tour with The Flying Corkscrew was a perfect choice. Anthony suggested several wineries which were located reasonably close together so we avoided long drives between tastings and were able to just relax and enjoy each winery . They were all different but enjoyable in their own way.
We visited Frasor Gallop, Domaine Naturaliste and Woodland which suited us all very well. Anthony was knowledgeable and friendly and it was a perfect day out. We can highly recommend The Flying Corkscrew.

Thank you Suzane, it was certainly a treat to host your touring party. I’m still amazed that you guys have been travelling the world together since the 1980’s. Keep up the good work, and we’ll see you again when you return to Australia.

Our recent experience through Margaret River with the Flying Corkscrew was definitely one to remember! Nathan curated a fabulous day of wine tastings at the most stunning locations. To top off the day, our Helicopter ride was nothing short of spectacular.
Nathan has a genuine passion for the area and his interactions with us from the very first request were always met with a genuine manner. We would highly recommend The Flying Corkscrew for a high end experience through the Margaret River region.

Thank you Sully and the team at The Flying Corkscrew for giving us the best day as a surprise birthday present for my husband. From visiting 3 fantastic wineries with Maria, our very knowledgeable wine host, to Jackson our pilot giving us a fabulous helicopter flight to Leeuwin, we could not ask for better. Our lunch at Leeuwin was superb. And the recommendation from Sully to stay at Hilltop Studios topped off a fabulous 5 days.

Nathan was a fantastic host. He asked our favourite wines and used his knowledge of the area to plan the perfect itinerary. He made sure we were well looked after at each stop and was a gracious host. The car was comfortable and chic and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use again next time!

I recently did the small group wine tour. I can not recommend this enough. The day was well planned and the winery’s we visited were all wonderful. A great mix. I’ve been on other wine tours in this region before and feel this was the best. The lunch at Vasse Felix was also excellent. Our driver Gordon was a great guide.

Sully took fantastic care of us over two non-consecutive days touring through the Margaret River wine region. Travelling with our young son means that wine touring isn't as straight forward as it used to be. However, Sully took care of everything (even providing occasional childcare during tastings!)
Sully proposed an excellent and varied itinerary. We saw all the classics, but were introduced to a couple of smaller boutique wineries that we hadn't heard of, which were absolutely fantastic.
He was kind, punctual, a great driver and a terrific bloke. Not much more we could have asked for! We'll definitely use the Flying Corkscrew again.

This was Nathans first time as a tour leader. We found he set the expectations from pickup. He was personable, explained the vineyards history, was knowledgeable about wines. He had a comfortable Mercedes van so we were able to spread out.

It’s not often you can say that “this day is one I will remember for the rest of my life”
That is a direct quote from my mum after a day spent with Sully on The Flying Corkscrew Wine Tour.
Sully is very personable and knowledge on the region and the day is magical - three small wineries, an amazing helicopter flight along the coast of Margaret River and a delicious 7 course degustation at the iconic Leeuwin Estate.
This is a “bucket list” experience. Thank you to Sully for creating something that my Mum will always remember.
