Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A gorgeous trail to both run and ride. We did both on two separate days. The optional loops keep things interesting! We had two water crossings that were not deep but we did need to take our shoes off!

This is a must if visiting the area. Such a beautiful walk and dog friendly which is hard to find in a very national park area.

A hidden gem and very worth while you can walk the full trail or shorter walks available.
Lovely waterfalls and a great cafe serving lovely coffee in the park area

5 stars from me

Very quiet place to visit. An easy walk to the dam from the car park and a steady walk across the dam and for as far as you want to walk around the dam. Short drive from Margaret River.

Great cycle, probably would have been easier if we had mountain bikes. Completed the trail myself with a flat tyre hybrid and my boyfriend on a ropey old road bike. Lovely views and soft mud to fall on...

From the MR township we took the Carter's Rd Trail Head and then hit this trail. Despite rain the day before the trail was fine. We only got to the first bridge and turned around. Lovely scenery and not too many people around.

We only touched upon the first part, starting in Rotary Park and going on for a while. Worth considering the full walk.

Went for a walk on the 2.2km trail, departing from Rotary Park, with the kids.

It is an easy grade along the shorter loop, and our 4 year old easily kept up.

There are convenient seats every now again for older people, or just to sit and take in the tranquillity of the forest. A mixture of regrowth and old regrowth and the odd original forest tree line the trail.

Not too many wildflowers at this time of the year. But at the river look outs along the path you can watch Marron walking along the bottom of the waterway.

The 15km full 10 Mile Brook Trail itself is closed at the moment for repairs.

We parked at rotary park and then went on to have a very picturesque walk next to water and pretty trees. This was perfect for us with our dog. Further up the trail, some people let their dogs off the lead and they were playing in the water.

Although it is a 10 mile trail, you can cross earlier to do the shorter loop which is what we did. In total I think we walked for an hour and a half.

Great as this is very close to the Brewhouse for a well deserved pint with your dog afterwards! Would highly recommend but if you go in winter, it can be boggy and wet in places so wear appropriate footwear.

You can’t get lost on this trail with ample parking and children’s playground at the start. Popular all year round with walkers, dogs and bikes it is lined with trees and plenty of fungi after the autumn /winter rains.
