Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome family activity that our teenagers really enjoyed. Our instructor Annabelle was knowledgeable and super helpful. The whole group was up on our boards surfing within the first 15 minutes. Loved every minute of it.

Jared picked a lovely surf spot where both the experienced 13 year old and his beginner mum had a great time. Excellent family fun trip!

I'm 63 and managed to get up on the board a few times on the first lesson. Great, supportive team on the beach and in the water. The equipment all looked in first-class condition to me (as far as I can tell as a novice). Recommended to newbies like me. It's got me interested in learning more when I get back to the east coast.

Great private lesson with Amy. Lots of fun for the adults and Amy was great with the kids, helping them to get up on the board and keep their balance.

I took two group lessons and one private lesson. They were all ok. In the group lessons there were both total beginners and those who had already taken one or two lessons, but everyone was taught the same things starting from the very beginning.

Teachers were experienced and nice, the gear good and the location super beautiful. However, I have been in other surf schools with even more personalised approach where even in the group lessons the teachers know everyone’s name and follow your progress more individually. Unfortunately this was not the case here.

All in all it was still a fun experience.
Communicating and booking was easy and they were very flexible.
