I would rate this as one of the most scenic drives in Australia, especially when you hit the more southern part near Augusta. Unlike other beautiful drives in other parts of Australia there is plenty to do along the way be it checking out a...More

Took the circle route today, South via Bussell Highway and back to Dunsborough via Caves Road. Some delightful scenery along Caves and the arterials, the different flora and vegetation, the vineyards, the many wineries, galleries, etc. The many attractions nearby are well signposted. The road...More

This is a long and beautiful Road, giving access to a number of caves, bays, galleries, cafes, and other attractions. I drove along it from Margaret River to Augusta, stopping off at places of interest, and very much enjoyed the drive

Great alternative route from Margaret River to Bunbury, which gives contrasting views from forrest to sea.

Forget the main drag ... travel the 110km strip to skirt the caves and the wineries. The scenery was superb, the pace easy and a joyful part of our trip.

If you want to see the sights like the lighthouse and caves this is the road to travel. Not much traffic was on the road so you could get from A to Be easily and quickly.

If you’re in the area you should take the time and go for a drive down caves road. There’s heaps to see and do. There’s the numerous wineries, breweries, produce stores, small country towns and some stunning coastline to stop and view. Allow plenty of...More

It is a long drive but it is very beautiful. There are lots of places to stay along the way and wineries to visit. If you dont the drive is just scenic and enjoyable to drive.

This is the key road to access most of the attractions, wineries, restaurants, beaches and forests in the area. Sadly, people drive on it far too quickly and although it has clear road markings it is a little narrow and easy for people to take...More
