Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a great find on our trip around Margaret river. Such a wonderful selection of meats, small goods, cheese, condiments and other related items. The owner was so friendly offering advice and samples of some of the products available. We left with a variety of unique small goods, sausages and cheeses and thoroughly enjoy them all. Our favourite was the venison pate, amazing on crackers of an afternoon. Stop in for some wonderful products but leave your vegan friends in the car.

I drop in here from time to time to buy unusual cold meats such as Venison. They have a lot more than just venison ..at times crocodile, kangaroo etc.

This shop sells a variety of smallgoods, such as venison, salamis, sausages and other meat products. What is different is that they sell a lot that are made from the lesser used meats, such as venison, kangaroo even crocodile.
They also have other products such as cheeses, biscuits and relishes, all sourced from around the region.
However, whatever you select, you cannot go wrong as it is all delicious. We bought the venison burgers, crocodile salami and a few other items. Absolutely amazing and delicious.
The shop is very clean and hygienic and the staff most helpful. I would recommend this shop if you want to try something a bit out of the ordinary.
PS I forgot to mention that the venison pies are superb.

If you are into trying something different stop by the venison farm and check out the range of small goods. Salamis, sausages etc all from venison. Totally different. Also plenty of cheeses and other yummy foods (including chocolate) to try. Give it a go

We called in here mainly for the novelty and to see what they produced and sold. We ended up buying that night's dinner from there and feasted on a selection of venison, crocodile and emu meat as well as pate and some lovely crisp bread. It wasn't too deer (see what I did there LOL).

We've been here a number of times over the years. A good range of salami etc with the novelty of being made from a range of different meats, not that you can really taste the difference. This time the lady serving was quite rude and stopped to talk to another staff member about some paperwork in the middle of serving us. We'll get salami elsewhere in future.

We stop here every time we visit Margaret River. Love the venison steaks, sausages and jerky. Stock up so we can enjoy for months after returning home.

Just dropped by to pick up something for dinner. We heated the pies at home and the following night ate the venison sausages. Really tasty - would definitely buy again. The shop stocks some very good quality locally made preserves etc as well as craft and arts goods - and they are well priced for the region. Would recommend a visit.

I don't know, I didn't ask. The deer are not close to the actual shop but you can see them when you are driving towards the farm.

Hi. Have been given some of your venison cabana and would like to know how to keep it please. We have so much, we can't eat it immediately.
Cheers.

Hi, The cabana can be frozen just be sure and defrost it in the fridge overnight when you are ready to eat it. regards Kylie @ MR Venison.
