Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a little gem of a winery that produces high quality in low volumes. The chardonnay and reserve cab sav are excellent value for money. I did a cheese plate to match the tasting and a lot of thought had gone into selecting the best matches. They know their stuff here.

Visiting from the UK over the Christmas period, you can imagine my family and I tried most of the estates. Without a doubt this little gem was the standout best by far. Beautiful setting on the lawn by the waterfront in the summer sunshine.
We sadly couldn’t choose between the tasting pairing with the cheese or the bespoke chocolates, so we were forced to go back a second day!
Overall, absolutely top drawer. I’m delighted we can now get their wines in the UK too!

Enjoyed a lovely cheese and wine tasting here. The outside seating overlooking the view was one of the best settings for a wine tasting that we experienced at Margaret River.

We booked in for the walk through the bushland to learn about their possum rehabilitation efforts which then ends with a wine tasting and cheese platter. We were lucky enough to have the owner Barry take us on our walk and it was wonderful! He was very excited to show us local flora and fauna and we even went a bit further than usual (since it was just two guests) to see some very old grass trees. We then returned and sat on the deck enjoying the afternoon sun with a wine tasting and amazing cheese platter. We ended up leaving with a SB, a Shiraz and a Syrah! Highly recommend a cellar door visit here. All the staff and both owners were wonderful to deal with and the work they are doing in local conservation is commendable.
P.S. Toby the winery dog was an extra bit of fluffy cuteness to finish a great afternoon off.

What a stunning boutique winery with exceptional wines. The staff were amazing, we had a good laugh and enjoyed the wines, the ambience and the story of the possums. What a brilliant part in possum conservation they are playing.
There were 6 of us on the tour and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Passel Estate.

With our annual visits down to Margaret River put on hold until borders open again, I am glad Passel Estate wines are available for purchase in Singapore. Their wines are consistently delicious and priced very reasonably for the quality they come in at. I've noticed over the years that a few vineyards have begun to introduce a tasting fee but hey, these guys have a business to run after all and if it's set off against a bottle to take home, you could do worse.
We had the guided tasting on our last trip at the stunning Tasting Room which I can't wait to return!

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to write this lovely review. We are so happy that you are a fan of Passel Estate and of our wines. We can't wait to welcome you back to the tasting room when borders re-open, and until then, are very happy to continue looking after all your Passel Estate wine needs in Singapore :-)

It is always sad to see a business with an empty carpark during peak season. It tells you something.
We arrived with a cheerful welcome then told we used the hand sanitiser the wrong way. Seriously...
As a couple I don’t mind the smaller wineries charging $10 for a tasting. You buy a bottle. I normally by two or more! Having been to this winery previously the now ludicrous charge of 10$ per person is ridiculous! Especially with limitations to 10$ off each bottle per person. As we often travel with our adult kids this winery is certainly off our favourites list. What a shame!
Other exceptional wineries do not charge so excessively! I would try them instead...

I am sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience during your visit just before Christmas, although how lucky you were to have the place to yourself - and I am very confused by your complaint about our charges. Having stated that you don't mind smaller wineries charging $10 for a tasting, you go on to complain about our own $10 tasting fee?
We are a very small producer of single vineyard, highly awarded wines, and the $10 tasting fee is fully redeemable against any bottle purchase, so it seems that you would agree that our charges are more than fair.... I hope you will give us another try next time you are in Margaret River and look forward to welcoming you back.

We visited this winery several years ago and very much enjoyed. We thought we would visit 1st November to taste latest wines. To our surprise they are now charging $10 per person and this only includes 4 wines.
There were 2 couples and was informed the tasting could be redeemed against a purchase. The wines were very average but we thought we would purchase a bottle per couple....but we were then told that we would need to purchase a bottle each !!
All other wineries in Margaret River will at least waiver the additional person fee if in couples so it’s very disappointing that we would be charged. We ended up paying $10 fee and not purchasing any wines and would not return or recommend.

I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit, and that our wines were not to your taste. As our very small producer of premium, single estate wines, we do have to charge a tasting fee to cover our costs, but this is fully redeemable against a single bottle purchase.
