My wife and I were travelling to Perth as part of an Australia trip and had planned to do a self drive tour of Margaret River. On searching online we came across McLeod Tours 3 day escape tour.
And what a find it proved to be. Neil and his son Lincoln were such attentive hosts. They were knowledgable and entertaining and we crammed so many good things into our three days. There is no way we could have managed this ourselves.
I have no hesitation in advising anyone contemplating touring the Margaret River area to contact Neil and his team.

My husband and I went on this three day tour with Neil as our guide. We have been on many tours and this rates as one of the best. Neil is a great host and, as he was brought up in the area, could relate what it used to be like as against what it is like now with many personal memories. He is obviously very keen on environmental issues while being down to earth about the practicalities. Extremely well organized, wonderful host, great places to eat and stay. We can highly recommend this tour.

What a fabulous tour we had with McLeod Tours. A family run business and it showed with the excellent organisation of a 3 day escape to Margaret River. From the beginning communication from the office was top notch with updates from Kumi - a real asset to the office. Our tour guides/drivers Rob and Lincoln had wonderful knowledge of the area as they are both locals. We had a wonderful bunch of people on our bus (just 13 of us) and Rob went out of his way to make sure our international visitor saw plenty of Kangaroos in the wild. The accommodation was great and the meals 5 star. All the places we visited were well worth while plus an extra couple of "surprise" experiences thrown in. We can't recommend McLeod Tours more highly.

We loved this trip from Day 1 pick-up to Date 3 drop-off. The driver/guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. They clearly love what they do and the region. Itinerary, accommodation, meals, group size (13) and comfortable minibus all made for a great experience.

Great trip. We saw things and places we never would have otherwise. Great accommodations, excellent meal stops. And the various tastings (wine, wine, wine, coffee, olive oil) were all excellent too. Neil entertained us with many stories of his very varied (relevant) life experiences.

This tour was for 3 days and exceeded my exceptions. Rob and Rusty were fantastic tour guides, very knowledgeable and made sure we had the ultimate experience. Our days were filled with visits to wineries, major tourist attractions and nearby towns. I cannot pinpoint my favourite destination as everywhere and everything we did was outstanding. When visiting Margaret River book with McLeod tours for an awesome time.

A wonderful introduction to the area south of Perth or a great way to see the highlights of this is going to be your only visit. A nice small group fantastic friendly and informative guide, great accommodation choices, a variety of local eateries, wineries, and local points of interest historically and geographically A great and really inclusive fun experience. Highly recommended

This three day trip was excellent . It was a lovely overview of the Margaret River area and, although we saw a lot, never felt rushed . We had time to walk the Busselton Jetty , enjoyed three different wineries , stayed at the beach , saw the southern lighthouse , had great breakfast and lunches with lots of choice to suit all tastes. The accommodation at the beach was an entire apartment with washer / dryer . It was an easy walk to the beach and had a heated pool and bar . The scenery was magnificent. We even got to see the wildflowers and the trees. Lincoln , one of the family members who run the tours, was a very pleasant tour guide with lots of local knowledge and stories to tell. It felt like we really got to see local businesses and local scenic spots; each welcomed us and shared their stories . I usually travel independently but this tour ticked all the right boxes .

It says pick up margaret river or 10k from destination.. will you pick up from pullman at bunker Bay at all?

Looking at doing your half day Food & Wine tour as 1 out of our group of 3 doesn't drink. The other 2 of us are Gluten Free however so I was wondering if that's sonething that can be accommodated for?

Hello Rebecca, thank you for getting in touch. Our half day "Great Taste Tour" is a great option for non-drinkers in your group, besides wine tasting we also include visits to local producers of cheese, chocolate and Olive Oil. The tour includes lunch at a brewery and with lunch a glass of beer, wine or soft drink. There is Gluten Free options available for lunch. I do hope this is of some help. What would be the cost of doing a private tour for the 3 of us of a selection of vineyards from around midday onwards (not sure when vineyards close....?)

Hi John, thank you for your inquiry regarding our Margaret River 3 Day Escape Tour. We pickup from the city, unfortunately we can't pickup from the suburbs. It doesn't have to be the Perth Railway Station we also pickup from hotels in the city. If you were coming into the Perth by train then the Wellington Street Coach Stand outside of the Perth Train Station would be the best place for pickup.
Accommodation is not shared, there is a single supp. applicable for solo traveller's. For more information please visit our website at McLeod Tours, Margaret River.
