The Eagle heritage centre is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in birds. It is a rare opportunity to get a relatively close glimpse of the wedge tailed eagle and other Australian birds of prey. Most can be viewed in large enclosures where they are kept pending recovery from various injuries. The highlight of the visit is a... More

We're avid birders, but typically don't go in for animals in cages. However, wanting to see raptors up close, we stopped by for the morning display flight. Amazing. First, they wheeled out a barn owl and talked about her. Incredible information. Then half a dozen or more people got to don a falconry glove and have the owl perch on... More

Spent a few hours visiting this centre. The couple that run the place were very informative and friendly. They obviously love what they do. Loved holding the beautiful owl and watching the birds fly free

We paid $17 per head adult and experienced their show. Started with an owl that the presenter talk long and hard about it's features... learnt a lot but it did get boring especially when everyone lined up one by one to have a photo with the owl. About 20 people and each one held it for a couple of minutes.... More

Short and sweet. Small little gem. The guide is funny. Loved the owl and eagles. Staff are friendly. They have a sweet dog named Maya.

Visited years ago and were suitably impressed by the Wedgetail Eagle posing for photos so this time not so impressed with the display. The birds free flying were not cooperating with the presenter, so the display was curtailed. The owl named Ivy that was used for photo opportunities was beautiful!

We were greeted by Mya the Labrador who is the official welcoming committee, she is lovely. Make sure you see the educational flight show as this is a real delight! This consists of two parts. The first part is getting up close and personal with Ivy the Barn Owl. If you are lucky you can have her on your arm.... More

We took the kids to Eagles Heritage it was an amazing experience if you love birds of Prey. The centre does an amazing job rehabilitating injured birds but also educating the public about these amazing creatures. Definately worth a visit they have a show a couple of times a day.
