Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We chose the Chimney Trail as it was the longest option. Really stunning walk, the trees are just beautiful and we loved the sound of the stream flowing. Very quiet for a Saturday morning, only saw 1 other person. So lovely to have some fresh air. The walk was just under 3.4km, very easy path and only took us 40mins. It was so nice, I wanted to do another loop.

There are several trails here available to walkers or mountain bikers (or both), of varying degrees and lengths. We walked the chimney trail and the first thing that hit us was the smell of the wildflowers in full bloom. Stop along the trail at various points and sit in silence to take in the bird song and insect sounds and you won’t be sorry! Nature at its finest!

Lovely loop to see the old chimney, love how they carved steps and walkways out of the fallen trees! Not sure if we were allowed to take the dog tho... saw a few others walking their four legged friends so ours joined the party and had no complaints!

At this time of the year it is a alive with Spring wildflowers and elusive native orchids. Cane break pools is a great spot to camp or have a picnic, with a beautiful natural pool.

A great forest for walking or Mountain biking and spotting native flora and fauna! Worth the short drive out of MR township. It winter the Bramley Brook is an added bonus. There are are plenty of firebreaks and service vehicle tracks crisscrossing the forest. Perfect for walking or cycling.
