We found the young lady at the Visitor Centre to be a wonderful help - nothing was too much trouble. She even helped us with information for our next destination of Esperence - well done !

Went to the Visitor Centre after arriving in town and the young dark haired girl (sorry I didn't get her name!) who served us was so helpful and friendly. Her bubbly personality was such a delight and I would rate her 11 out of 10....More

Stop here first before tripping around. The staff are so helpful and know everything that is going on or worth seeing. Don’t forget to look up at the ceiling which has original tin roof installed from the old days.

The staff in the Visitor Centre are fabulous. They know so much about Kalgoorlie and surrounding area. They suggested we visit the Big Pit - very worthwhile and the museum - another very worthwhile visit. It was great to use the headsets and walk around...More

Hi Rhonda The visitors centre is closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day. On Sundays and Public holidays they are open 9 am to 1 pm. Mon to Fri hours are 9 - 5; Sat 9 -2 pm. You can always email them? Hope you enjoy your visit..
