Definitely try the slushies! We just stopped in for a look around and a drink, you could spend hours here just reading the walls. It has a very new owner, hoping they fix up the seating area etc and maybe advertise it better from the road, it has the potential to be a huge tourist attraction. You can’t write on the walls anymore, but maybe they could offer writing on the outside tables and paint them every few months and start again, just as a cute thing kids could do. We only heard positive reviews from locals about the food, but we had elsewhere to be and didn’t have a chance to try any out. …

We were disappointed about the food. The Broady Burger was very basic and $18. Bun not warmed, uncooked onions, small beef patty, no sauce. It's had its day. Nice for a quick visit but that's all. Only half the menu left.

This used to be a cool place with the main features being pub grub and leaving your mark on the wall with a texta. The writing is now banned due to wowsers taking offence at some of the more colourful ‘art’ and the day we were there the kitchen closed as they couldn’t deal with a crowd of 40. The beer was cold, but only stubbies, as the taps were off. Personally, I wouldn’t bother again. Like a lot of The Goldfields, it’s had it’s day. …

Went from Kalgoorlie specifically for lunch with a group of friends. When we arrived at 1.00 we were told that food service had finished as they were too busy. No fault of the employees. They were woefully staffed for such a busy time. You cannot write on the walls any more as some people have written inappropriate comments, ruining it for the rest of us. Still, it was worthy of the 30 minute drive from kalgoorlie and we thank the staff for the drinks and crisps they were able to supply us.…

Quirky pub/tavern on the road to Lake Ballard. Worth a look and a quick drink. More graffiti on the walls than I remember! We just wanted coffee by the time we got there and Judith obliged with a decent cuppa!
