Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Tins Heads collection is amazing place and nostalgic. We could have stayed there for another hour, it is so amazing as it shows how through the ages how things have changed in our storage. This collection should be housed as one and shown as a tourist attraction, fee should be low and given to maintaining the collection and a charity to the owners pleasure.

Robert is lovely and full of interesting stories. His collection is very unique with high quality thematic organization. Pictures doesn’t do it justice.

Robert is such a sweet bloke and runs one of the most unique attractions in Australia - he gives you a personal tour at the cost of a gold coin donation which goes to the heart foundation - definitely worth a look through

Very interesting and unique collection of a variety of tins of every kind. Everyone will find tins they recognise from their childhood. Entry is by gold coin donation, the proceeds going to the Heart Foundation charity. Situated on a residential block a short drive from Geraldton’s city centre, there is on street parking if you have a large trailer or there is a turning circle at the top of the driveway. Robert Gaston, the owner was fascinating and really knew is collection.

Fantastic visit just wished I had more time, you could spend hours looking around & speaking to Robert. At 81yrs old he is a happy man living a simple life. So many tins brought back memories! He hosts some tea mornings too, the kitchen is always on the boil! Bring some coins or notes for a donation that all goes to charity.

What a wonderful surprise to see this collection of tins. The owner (does like to chat) has spent a great deal of time putting these tins on display , he has tins from all over the world. All the money he raises goes to Charity .

Husband and I visited the Tin Heads on our recent stay in Geraldton.
Loved hearing Robert talk about his ‘beloved’ tins. The collection consists of 11785 tins at present.
There is something for everyone here.
Definitely brings out childhood memories.
All donations are given to a charity so please give generously

Robert is a gem and a wonderful old fashioned and informative host. The collection is world class. Should definitely be high on Geraldton’s “to do” list.
