Taffy's has always been on the waterfront, but for the last couple of years they've been at a new location which is more visible, close by the new Dome. We were warmly greeted upon entry, and offered a couple of taffy samples to try. The older gentleman who took care of us was very friendly. And the taffy was delicious. We left with some scoops of ice-cream ($4.50 for a single, $5.50 for a double), and that was quite nice. Not the kind of luxury ice-cream as The Bean and Cone, but then again, this was also more affordable. But the real appeal here isn't the ice-cream, but the taffy and confectionary, and you can even see them making this through the glass windows.

Unfortunately was very underwhelmed to be honest! Have seen the ad on TV for years so thought it was a must do while in the area, but it really wasn't anything special - just a small quiet store with expensive produce!
