Very impressed with the freshness of their fruit and vegetables however I stopped buying their meat due to not acceptable sometimes misleading presentation and quality.
eg excessive amounts on fat.
Nice variety of different cheeses but pretty expensive. The prices for their precooked meals have increased significantly while the portion has decreased at the same time. Some items eg Maple Syrup are more expensive than in other stores. I am only buying my fruit and vegetables there now as the quality is outstanding

Hi ligilu, Thanks so much for your review... I am concerned about some of your comments though as we pride ourselves on offering exceptional products across the entire Market. If you're ever unhappy with anything we'll always happily refund or replace it at our guest services desk. On prices, our philosophy is extreme value & extreme freshness guaranteed - we focus on creating & offering the best products we can at fair money, which means we don't take short cuts on our ingredient choices, we use only the best ingredients and sometimes prices of those ingredients change, so our prices reflect that. We prefer to go that way rather than use inferior or more commercial products - for instance, we use butter and real eggs to make our handmade pastry not margarine and egg powder. I'd be genuinely interested to talk to you further about this - if you'd like to talk about some specifics, could you email me at adam.taylor@bunburyfarmersmarket.com.au. Thanks again for taking the time to provide this feedback & review. Cheers, Adam

I can warm my own milk at home.
1. I should be able to taste coffee
2. A flat white should have absolutely no froth (especially when the customer specifically requests it)- hence the word flat and
3. A cappuccino is not majority milk with cocoa powder - it should be majority froth.

Maybe you can teach your staff the differences between coffee styles instead of them just claiming aloud to ‘make the best flat white’

So tired of wasting money on dismal coffee

Hi 1406traveller, Thanks so much for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear our coffee wasn't up to our usual standards - that's no good at all and I'd like to put it right... if you'd like to send me you best contact details (to adam.taylor@bunburyfarmers.market) we'll happily refund or replace this for you. Cheers, Adam 😊

Decided to give this place another chance. Big mistake, I hear good things about this place all the time?? Words like “quality” The sausages we bought were revolting and we ended up with half a cup of fat ( didn’t use any to start ) in the pan. If we were local I would cheerfully take them back ( cooked ) and the fat along with them!! Prices of fruit was alarming compared to my local fruit & veg in Perth.

Hi TessW611, thanks so much for your review / feedback - I'm very sorry to hear our sausages weren't up to our usual standard, that's no good at all and I'd like to put that right - we'll happily refund or replace anything you're not entirely happy with if you'd like to send your best contact details to me at adam.taylor@bunburyfarmers.market I'll organise this for you. As for your comment about the fruit, could you be a little more specific? We pride ourselves on offering extreme value & extreme freshness in all our produce and we offer a range of prices to reflect the quality / grade of fruit available - I'm genuinely keen to know what type of fruit you're talking about and what you're comparing it to. Hope to hear from you so we can sort this out for you. Many thanks, Adam 😊

We are back visiting the family in Dalyellup after missing 2019 but our visits to The Farmers Market are again excelling our expectations .
We understand that one of the owners originates from Lincolnshire following up from his comments on our last posting.
Can someone ask why he is not promoting the famous Lincolnshire Poacher cheese range now they are available in Australia.
This hard cheddar style with many variations is and would be a brilliant addition to your existing fantastic range of cheeses.
Our visit lasts until the first week in March and I suspect we will be having many more visits to your wonderful exhibition of foodstuffs.
Brilliant and all the best for future trading
John snd Sylvia from a Lincolnshire England.😎👍

I've seen different reactions from people to Bunbury Farmers Market. If you come in with high expectations, you'll be disappointed. It's not a market that has anything than food supplies. And don't expect cheap prices just because it's a market.

But if you come in with average expectations, and compare it with a grocery shop, you'll be impressed. There's a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, and an excellent range of different foods. I also like how it's set up, where you wander through the entire store in a single trip.

But in the end, it's still just another shop, albeit with fresh food. I wouldn't exactly call it a tourist attraction. But as a good place to get a wide variety of food, sure, it's great.

Hi, Thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to leave a review of your visit to Bunbury Farmers Market. It can be hard to compare us to other stores, because what we do here is quite unique. What started as 3 day per week market selling locally grown fresh produce has now grown to include so much more. Whilst we still offer the freshest, longest lasting produce from over 150 local growers, we also now have our own ever-growing range of Market Made products which our talented chefs prepare every day right here at the Market, using our wonderful fresh produce and whole food ingredients. Whilst we never aim to be a tourist attraction, it's our unique approach to fresh, nutritious food that makes us such a popular stop for people visiting or passing through Bunbury. We're delighted that you were pleased with the wide range of fresh food on offer, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Needs better entry and exits to the carpark, that is IF you can get in, or out safely! Highly dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. Fruit and veg may be fresh, yet hundreds of people pick up fruit etc, smell it and put it back! Makes it not so healthy. Have to walk the entire circuit of the place, even if you only want a few items.

Thanks for taking the time to share your opinion. We understand that the car park entrance can get congested on busy days, and we have several measures in place to help smooth the flow of traffic and improve safety. We have recently highlighted the importance of pedestrians using the marked crossings and traffic lights with signage in our car park. We have also installed signage encouraging guests to turn left out of the car park and turn around at the roundabout on Vittoria Road, and during peak times we close off the right turning lane. Unfortunately the occasional person chooses to ignore our efforts. This is something that we are constantly looking to improve, as the safety of our guests is our number one priority. You are correct that our fruit and veg are extremely fresh, and unlike in the supermarkets, our produce has come direct from the grower. Whilst we don’t dispute the fact that guests will pick up produce, your statement of ‘hundreds’ is a vast exaggeration. Guests handling produce is something that happens in any fresh produce retail environment. People quite rightly like to be able to inspect the produce they are about to purchase. I would like to highlight that this does not impact how healthy it is. I understand that with the current global situation, people are more concerned about spreading germs, but please be aware that there is no evidence at all to suggest things like Covid-19 can spread via food. If this is still something that concerns you, please remember that it is always advisable to wash your produce before you eat it, no matter where you purchase it. We hope that you will visit again soon, and a handy tip is to shop earlier in the day to avoid peak times.

What an amazing market. The amount of produce available is simply amazing. All products are laid out in an appealing manner, food looks real fresh and appetising, massive selection of products, and a huge range of fruit and veges on display, all lookinhg very appealing. Why cant Coles and Woolies set up their stores the same? Prices are not cheap, about the same as your usual supermarkets, however as the food looks much fresher and better quality than the supermarkets, I would say it is much better value, and we will certainly be calling here on Wednesday on the way back home to Perth to stock up not just on the vegetables, but also the meat.

Excellent market, not what I expected with undercover one system of passing stalls but made it easy to get around and social distance. Heaps of variety and reasonable prices, girl at checkout very friendly. Even if not in the market for buying anything in particular it is worth visiting just to enjoy the sights. One thing - parking might be an issue at certain times, it was pretty crowded.

Hanging out for some very nicely put together sushi hand rolls from a previous trip but they didn’t seem to have any sushi options…the meats and fruits and other choices were all still there. Great for a family with cooking facilities and some other ready meals as well, including fruits and quite good desserts. Well worth the stopover

Thanks so much for visiting and for taking the time to leave a review. We're glad you enjoyed our range of Market Made products and fresh produce. Whilst we don't currently have a sushi hand roll in our range, we do offer a wide range of other Market Made sushi products. They can be found in our cafe fridges at the entrance, and also in our sushi fridge just before the seafood. We make all of our sushi fresh every morning, so if we have a busier day than expected, we can sell out earlier in the day. This is possibly why you found there to be no sushi options available. Hopefully next time you visit you will have our full range of sushi to choose from. Thanks again for your review, we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
