Bunbury is WA's second city. It's a properous place. The Turf Club provides a high standard of racing for a provincial track. The catering is good, with comfortable viewing for punters. Bunbury is around 2 hours from Perth by car, it's a good day out for horse lovers. The feature race, the Bunbury Cup, will run over 2000 metres on 7 March 2001 for thoroughbred horses 3 years and older. The prize pool is $120,000.

This is a great day on any race day for the whole family. There is plenty of shade, food and drinks available at cheap prices.

A huge surprise attending the 2019 'opening day' conducted by the Bunbury Turf Club Races, to find such an excellent set up for country races. A 'mini Flemington' instantly came to mind !! An expansive complex, with lush green lawns, and a likewise turf racetrack. Grandstand seating and several covered public seating areas were abundant. Betting facilities were contemporary, and located at numerous sites for optimal public access. Food and refreshment facilities were of a high standard. All public amenities were clean. Free car parking was available right at the main entrance. The races were well organised and in all respects were professionally conducted. Everything I witnessed made for a memorable day at the races - thank you Bunbury Turf Club.
