Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting to learn about local history.
Bought back some memories for me.
Staff were friendly.
Exhibitions do change on a regular basis.
Best part is it’s FREE.

Well laid out displays, and an interesting (if quirky) temporary display. Friendly staff, very welcoming.

I love all country museums and this one does not disappoint. It may be small but it has an interesting collection in a nice old building.

Entry to the museum is free of charge and there is parking available close by.

There are also clean and well equipped toilet facilities in the museum.

The staff were well informed and helpful and the static displays well presented and primarily outlined the history of Bunbury. Allow 30 minutes to one hour. Opening hours 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.

Located downtown in Bunbury's CBD and free to enter, this is an excellent local and regional museum, with interesting displays and excellent staff. You should certainly include it on your itinerary if you are in Bunbury. The treatment of Aboriginal issues is particularly good, but several other issues are also handled very well.

Dropped in based on a recommendation on a tourist website. This is a great little museum that stands proud in representing Bunbury and it’s past. Definitely worth a visit.

Small local museum but there is always something of interest and generally a new exhibit or two. Well set out, interesting artefacts on loan from King Cottage and local community members. Staff helpful and enthusiastic. Free entry but a donation is appreciated. Nice selection of local history literature available to purchase.

This is a small free museum, very well set out and informative. A pity there weren’t people to ask any questions to, but easy to follow the history.
