Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Entry to the museum is free of charge and there is parking available close by.
There are also clean and well equipped toilet facilities in the museum.
The staff were well informed and helpful and the static displays well presented and primarily outlined the history of Bunbury. Allow 30 minutes to one hour. Opening hours 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.

Located downtown in Bunbury's CBD and free to enter, this is an excellent local and regional museum, with interesting displays and excellent staff. You should certainly include it on your itinerary if you are in Bunbury. The treatment of Aboriginal issues is particularly good, but several other issues are also handled very well.

A visit to this well laid out museum is sure to evoke memories of times gone by.
My favourite part of this museum is the school room.
I remember sitting at this type of desk with its inkwells as a child. When you visit you will have different memories - its a great place with lovely friendly staff.
Worth a visit. Free entry.

It's definitely worth visiting. The displays are very good and interesting. Just across Centrepoint Shopping Centre and very conveniently located. Kids had a bit of education and lots of things to discover. It's free entry.

Despite its small size, I spent a considerable length of time in the museum, due to the wealth of information provided. I also enjoyed seeing the school room with original desks

Called into the Heritage Museum to see what it was like. Was pleasantly surprised. It tells you how Bunbury was in the beginning and the building of some of the areas. The history was very good and I would recommend if you are visiting Bunbury you go into the Heritage Centre to view it for yourself

I love all country museums and this one does not disappoint. It may be small but it has an interesting collection in a nice old building.

Dropped in based on a recommendation on a tourist website. This is a great little museum that stands proud in representing Bunbury and it’s past. Definitely worth a visit.
