When we were at the 12 Apostles we were told in conversation not to miss the Bay of Islands and the Bay of Martyrs as they were as impressive as the 12 apostles. We weren't disappointed and from the viewpoint on the GOR we saw some impressive sights which are a must see.

Put down your phones....go for a drive and walk along the great ocean road. The ever changing coastline is a must for any tourist.

Late Sunday afternoon we arrived at the Bay of Islands on our way to Port Campbell. A beautiful natural bay and the colours are stunning. This area of the Victorian coastline is truly one of the natural wonders of the world. The bay of islands is less popular than the crowded Apostles but should not be missed

We tried to get the most out every day and this place is a must to see. You see the pics in glossy magazines but to see it in real life it's just amazing.

Not to be missed!!! The formation is just amazing. This spot is definitely under rated. It is less crowded than apostles so you can get the whole view all by yourself!!

Good walk, good view and great photo opp. It's a must to see the Bay of Islands if you are around the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommended even to family with little kids.

Compared with the packed Twelve Apostles site a bit closer to Melbourne, the Bay of Islands viewing platforms only had a tiny number of visitors at 1600 in the afternoon. It was instructive to see how a 1997 landfall had resulted in tonnes of material crashing to the shoreline. The view was stunning: lovely bright blue waters and the natural... More

Don't miss this spot on the Great Ocean Road. Walk to both spots and go first to the boat ramp lot. We had it completely to ourselves and thought it was every bit as beautiful as the 12 Apostles.

The Bay of Islands is a beautiful spot along the Great Ocean Road. The wind off the ocean is strong, but you can walk down along the beach and the views from the top are amazing.

Last time we were here it was pouring with rain, it was beautiful then and today on a bright sunny day it is equally as stunning. Don't miss this when you are in Victoria.
