We became grandparent members and took our 4 grandchildren to Flagstaff Hill for New Year's eve - all covered by our membership. Picnic on the hill, fabulous music, early fireworks and home by 10.30. Free day in the Village kept everyone busy with promises of more visits (free) during the year. Discounted tickets for 'Shipwrecked' will be another treat during... More

We read about this place but didn't really get into it until we went to the art gallery and found out more information. But we glad we did because we got to see some amazing building and then we got to see the maremma dogs and omg they were do cute .

This experience was breathtaking and priceless. Worth every penny and all the time we spent to come From Mount Gambier. The maritime museum is a real step back in history, and having the oddball touch with the dogs on premises makes it even more real and an even better experience for all. The sound and light show is incredible never... More

The village is clean, the staff were friendly. Would of been nice to have some people in dress of the era talking to the children in the stores/ school/ church. My children participated in the cooking class which was free. They made vanilla slice and it was delicious. Mareema dogs were a highlight, make sure you find out if they... More

A great reproduction of an early fishing village. With a lot of interactive displays related to the shipwreck history of the region and associated memorabilia. Highly recommended for children and adults alike.

We purchased full package tickets which included a 2 day pass to the museum, a 2 course dinner at Pipies (on site restaurant also open for B/L/D with al a carte menu-it was delicious and the view spectacular) and tickets for the lantern festival walk and laser light show. Very reasonably priced at $136 for the two of us!! Dinner... More

Started off with an interesting short film, unfortunately we both had trouble understanding the cockney voice over. The Loch Ard presentation was very interesting as well as the other exhibits re the shipwreck coast. The village was well presented and showed what village life was like in the 1800's. Worth visiting if spare time available.

The nighttime light show was interesting and informative. Well done presentation, nothing spectacular, although worth the look. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable giving information with passion.

Good day but not very interactive for young kids. Tea rooms were lovely and Shipwrecked show a must!
