    Rainy day, but nice
Even in the rain this was a great place to visit. The whales had gone back to Antarctica, but there was quite a view out to the ocean from the watching seats. The beach below was clean and attractive and would have been a nice walk back to the river if we had the time. I had seen the whales on a previous trip and they do come in quite close to shore.

    Great whale watching platform
We stopped here knowing that it was not whale season. There are impressive viewing platforms with seats for whale watching. Very accessible for wheelchairs and prams. There are display boards providing information about the whales and how to spot them. There is a staircase for getting down to the beach - a lovely long stretch of orangey sand. Would like to return during whale season!

    More than just whale watching
We visited Logans Beach (famous for whale watching) on a weekend where the State Bodyboarding Titles were on. It was a real treat to see such an event at this magical location. The site is well signed and very accessible which allowed us to stay and take in the views for longer than anticipated. We will definitely be back during whale watching season. Can't wait!

    Beautiful views
Such a beautiful view. Great to visit any time of the year but especially when the whales appear. There is a ramp so everyone can use the space. There are usually surfers there to watch. Stairs down to the beach are quite steep but I've seen people of all ages(and dogs) climb them.

    Don’t forget your jacket!
Make sure you bring your jacket as the wind is harsh here but a lovely viewing platform to whale watch. If you’re game, take the stairs down to the beach too! We also called past as a part of the winter Soltice Search to find neon lights.

A great view, whales or no whales
To be able to see whales so close without having to get in a boat is pretty special. Even when the whales aren't there, the views are great. The platform is big enough to accommodate a lot of people on busy days, there's a ramp so access is good, and sections of the wall are low enough so kids (early primary) can see over the edge

Logan’s Beach whale watching platform is very well set up for looking out to sea to spot whales. Access is easy regardless of your mobility. Unfortunately the whales are a law unto themselves and we saw none in late October.

View was good but there was no whales and we stayed for 2hr. Nearest toilets are at Hopkins river so it’s a bit of a walk if you don’t drive. Public transport is bad. If they could add a takeaway shop and a toilet block people will be able to stay for much longer.

Definitely a popular place to visit to view the migratory whales but you are at the mercy of nature. We visited several times over the course of the weekend and didn’t get to see any whales. There is plenty of parking available and there is a large viewing area catered for all including those requiring wheelchair access.

Amazing views of the limestone cliffs and during the Whale breeding season we've been lucky enough to spot a view whales. Can get bit a chilly so recommend a wind breaker or coat but we'll worth the views.

We visited the Whale watching platform & although we are aware we travelled at the wrong time of year to see any whales we will certainly be returning between July and October in hope to catch a glimpse of the Whales. I highly recommend as an activity for all abilities.
