Logan's Beach is best known as the Whale Viewing Platform that oversees the Southern Right Whale nursery area.Southern Right Whales return to Warrnambool each year between July and October (seasons vary depending upon whale numbers) to give birth to their calves and then training them for the long journey south to Antartica.

What an amazing spot, even on a cold windy warrnambool day As soon as we arrived at the car park there was plenty of wheelchair car parks, clear signage to the whale viewing platform and paved walkways... what a bonus! But the view....wow!! And wheelchair...More

Beautiful beach , worth coming to sit on the beach and relax. Whale watching platform with wheel chair Access but it seems only stair to enter the beach sand. No life guards or flags that I can see- so be ware and be safe

Each year, roughly between late May and early October, Southern Right Whales return to their nursery at Logan's Beach to give birth and raise their calves. This is an extract from the visit warnambool web site.
