Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a really good place to sit there and look at the rolling seas. You can have a look back over Warrnambool and the breakwater. No one else here Sunday lunchtime, definitely recommend paying a visit. Five minute drive from the centre of Warrnambool.

I walked here each morning of our holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the views, the rock pools, the bird life. The waves going in multiple directions! God is an amazing designer for our pleasure!

Rough and rugged rocky coastline in Warnambool. There are some nice walks and a great spot to watch the waves crashing against the rocks. If you're lucky you may spot some seals.

A short walk from our hotel in Warrnambool was the Thunder Point Coastal Reserve (Public Purposes Reserve depending who you talk to). There are some great walks in either direction that take you along some rugged beauty that is the southern coast of Australia. Lots of good signage, easy walks and great scenery.

Well maintained paths and stunning coastal scenery make it well worth the short walk out to Thunder Point.

Visited on Wednesday 19th February. Went for a drive to the lookout which is easy to get too with plenty of parking available. It was wet so couldn't go for a walk along the pathway there.

If you're visiting Warrnambool this is a must. It's a great spot to watch sunset though be mindful that it can be very windy. We did the coastal walk from Pickering point . There were a lot of tidal pools to explore. Check the tide timings before going.

What a great walk from Stingray Bay to Thunder Point. You can walk it, which I recommend or drive to most of the area to view various vantage points. Either way it’s a spectacular site to see the wild seas and the vast coastline . And to experience the extremely strong winds which were full on on my visit. One other thing which blew me away was the flora and fauna . It’s such a rich area of coastline plants. Yes what a great walk and it’s a Mecca for anyone interested in photography.

Walked from the Pier to Thunder Point and saw the penguins on the Island and read all the signs along the track, would recommend this to others.
