A beautiful spot to watch the sun go down, with a small parking area facing the sunset. Explore the area, enjoy the views or take a walk along the paths set out. Definitely a great spot.

A great location to view the rugged coast line or watch a sunrise/sunset. I've spent a lot of time here doing landscape photography, many great places to shoot from!

I'd seen photos of the Coast from this spot but seeing it in person was even better. It was a gorgeous winter's day. Enjoyed watching the bigger waves hitting the coast. Was such a great view. Could see all the way down to Middle Island

A wonderful place to explore the rock pools and watch the surf. You can see the Marema dogs from there watching over the penguins

Nice spot to stop off and admire the coastal views, the birds and Australian Fur Seals. Some walks along coast and down to the freshwater lake.

We stopped at Pickering point and walked to Thunder Point and then back to Merri Island. The rock formations are great and there is a place you can access the beach from. You can also look across to Middle Island and see the birds roosting.

Close to town but feels like it's a long way away. Nice quiet place to go for a walk whilst enjoying coastal views.
