Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is hard to rate something like this which is locally of interest because of fish that used to be abundant in the Murray River, but less so now

A cool place to stop and take some photos - another "big" thing to tick off the list of Aussie big things.

We were walking back from booking our boat tour, when we noticed this HUGE fish. Worth a photo if nothing else. There is information about this fish at the site.

Only good for photographing children in it's mouth and sending them to grandparent. Otherwise just walk across the road to the Swan Hill RSL for a good meal.

For some reason we Australian's seem to love our Big Things, they are all over the country. Swan Hill gives the Murray Cod the Big Things treatment. Its great for a photo and a laugh and certainly catches your eye as you drive past.

A big fish! Well, there are big bananas, koalas and just about everything else, so why not a giant cod? Right next to the station and a photo op, if nothing else@

It’s a fake fish on the side of the road. That’s all I can say! Not fantastic, not something I’d tell people they must see… but there’s not much else in Swan Hill!

Very excited to see this huge colourful fish. Great for a photo too even if I did think it was a trout at first

It is pretty tacky but it highlights you are on the Murray River and a large fiberglass Murray Cod is a good way to do, a therefore a little fun.
